So Grendel - do you think Ann was lying when she has stated that Joy is not interested in the football club? What is so hard to understand that you can support CCFC and not support SISU?

They have overseen one to my knowledge -- when was the second?

I for one was asked by Nick to see if i wanted to attend one of these meetings.
As a avid Sisu opponent I thought about it and decided that all sides needed to be present.
I was rather surprised to be asked as me and Nick have never seen eye to eye on many topics.
I had never meet him before and had only ever had one other private message from him.

I did mention this meeting before but no one seemed to be interested so left it at that.

I also never mentioned how I got the invite because I knew the reaction it would bring on here.

I for one took the meeting with a pinch of salt and left none the wiser, as for changing my stance well I will always hate Sisu for taking my club away, and will not stop until they have gone.

And don't believe everything you read on here I am not one of the good guys I have a reputation to hold up too.

Nick said:
No, there was no "you are sworn to silence". More likely the reaction it would get like Dongos about "special" fans etc etc.

I personally didn't say anything because I couldn't be bothered with the "SISU Lover" type of crap I knew that would happen, nothing secretive.

I think if we were sworn to silence, we could be expecting letters now The fact that when asked "how many people" I was told "the more the merrier". Nothing dodgy on SISU's behalf with it, more likely my lack of organisation

No my reaction was more based in no one saying anything afterwards.

I would never call you a SISU lover for attending such a meeting.

It is a pretty significant thing and I am surprised you can't see why many would find it strange that you would not share the details of such a meeting with us afterwards.

I would have loved to have heard what a different range of people thought about these little group meetings 4 days ago?

Yep you have to question the logic of winning an argument but losing your business. Surely ml knows the reputation of hedge funds? Are we now to believe that sisu are using different tactics in this scenario than any other business practice they have entertained?
It's why rfc continues to push all our buttons. He is either incredibly optimistic or blind to the realities of how these institutions work or he has hard factual information that will amaze us all. Let's face it a government minister recently claimed 55k they knew they shouldn't, only paid 6k back and received a slight demotion. The council are not likely to be whiter than white but ml hasn't answered to anyone's satisfaction how moving to Northampton is financially viable, how if the jr is successful that will change acl's stance on selling the freehold or giving a long leasehold to sisu, what happens if no planning permission is obtained for a new stadium and finally how disenfranchising 90% of your paying customers is a sensible business move

Sorry with steeping into the dangerous territory of been called a stirrer.

Lord, Nick, Grendel, letts, NW

A genuine question ( like all the rest were to be fair)

Did ML give anyone any answer that they did not know or explained anything you did already know in more depth that it now makes sense?

Not the one you're asking Don but NW's fairly long post suggests not.

To a certain extent yes but he is clearly working for sisu so has to present their case.

The most illuminating comments were from another that i met who confirmed by belief that no owners will ever work with the council or Higgs and unless the pair of them fuck off we have to hope sisu build their folly as they will be the only hope in town. Without doubt unless the council and Higgs surrender the Ricoh we will never see football in Coventry again.

Why do you think that no owners will ever work with the Council or the Charity?

Who was the mystery man/woman (no MEP gags) who confirmed your beliefs, and are they in any position to know that this will be the case for ever?

Is it because they're robbing bastards who'd kick their city's football club when it was on its knees?

Just a guess like.

Clearly they must be. They've just had there crystal ball calibrated and are able to tell who every potential owner the club is ever likely to have and the entire catalogue of reasons that means that they could never deal with acl/higgs/ccc. Hence why nobody has ever dealt with these parties and never will.

The Higgs Charity which bailed out the club when it was on its knees? Honestly Torch, don't blame them for helping us out after Richardson's punt. The council have a lot more to answer for but the Higgs I think acted in good faith.

I'm going for a guy who coincidently has the same Initials as a prominent fellow that becomes extremely prominent at this time of year ,yet felt compelled to jump ship around 12-15 months ago when some asset shifting became apparent .

Grendel after your meeting with ML you said he was a man of his word and there would be a public open to all fans forum.
Do you know when he intends to do this?

Please no snide remarks about private forums. It is a genuine question?

Of course he is a man of his word. It is a great place to build a stadium. I just seem to have forgotten where it is that they are building it
