Rob was at CWR when I worked there in the early 90's. Great bloke! Also Geoff "Fozzie" Foster, but bit of a misery - can't take a joke (long story!). Shaw Taylor (for those of us that remember him) now lives in Totland Bay on the Isle of Wight. I lived literally round the corner from him before we moved to Newport. Also the late Bill Pertwee (Warden Hodges from Dad's Army) also lived in the same road for a short while. Met him a few times walking along the sea front. Nice bloke.

Just going "off piste" slightly, but who are the people you've never met, but would have loved to had a chat with (whether they are living or not.)
For me personally, it would have to be John Lennon.
Also:
Oliver Cromwell
Bill Clinton
Audrey Hepburn
Charles Dickens

I saw Abby Clancy with Peter Crouch in a David Lloyd a few years ago, it was around the time he was leaving Liverpool to sign for Portsmouth, he was saying he had to leave because Benitez wouldn't play him. As for Abby, I've never seen pictures of her and thought she was all that, but in the flesh she was absolutely stunning.
I met Vinnie and a mixture of Wimbledon and West Ham players (including Hartson) at Sandown races a few years ago, my pal and I ended up drinking with them all day, good crack.
i briefly spoke to Alan Brazil when he played for City, he was walking in and I said "score one today Alan" and he replied "will do laddy" as he ruffled my hair. If memory serves me correct, we played QPR and lost 1-0.

Lads at school with Devon Malcolm's lad - nice fella (both of them)
Matt Dawson and other assorted Saints players at the time
Matt le Tiss
Gary Lineker - I was pissed in hospitality at HR - he wasn't, enough said
Darth Vadar (Dave Prowse), and Warwick Davis
Jim Davidson - who was ok, well he was sober
On the piss with Magnus Hedman on a few occasions - always got his round in and gave me a lift back from HR once so tha the could go straight out on the beer
Alan Lamb
Sister had dinner with Noel Gallagher a couple of times - purely platonic, and a really quiet and friendly chap apparently
Almost met Seve (my hero) but was too in awe to speak to him.

Best one that comes to mind was meeting Mark Lawrenson of Liverpool.

Our Sunday league side (Coventry Colliery) got through to the last 64 of the Carlsberg Cup about 15 years ago, and the cup draw was at St. Andrews, Birmingham..

Me, being skipper, the manager and a few other players went and we're in the Players Lounge and here comes Lawro with a couple of Carlsbergs in his hand and introduces himself.

He asks our team name etc and also what kind of draw we want. We say “Any away draw would be superb so we could go on the lash” he laughs and say's fair play, i'll see what i can do...

Him and the president of Carlsberg do the draw and when he (doing the away teams) pulls out our name he looks for us with a big grin on his face, holds the ball up and winks.
We all roar “Get in!!”…
haha.
Just after the draw was made he said he was running late but gave a thumbs up to us on his way out!!..

Was in the toilets with Michael Foot when I was in the posh seats at Highfield Road during half-time against Plymouth. We didn't shake hands.

Met a few through work, Felix Dennis, nice bloke, poet, co-founder of Oz magazine, then owned Dennis Publishing, first bloke to say "c**t" on television apparently. Sadly died last year.

Jon Bon Jovi, nice bloke, bit of a short arse.

Roy Hodgson when West Brom manager, really nice bloke, couldn't be friendlier.

Stuart Pearce when England U21's manager, bit of a prick to be honest.

The Corrs mum, but she was dead and in a coffin.

Chris Tarrant years ago, would have been at the launch of the Sierra I think at Soans in Leamington, OTT had just started, was only a kid, but he came across as a real arrogant tosser.

Sold Simon Weston a really disgusting Christmas jumper once;

Drank in the same local as one of the Chuckle Brothers;

Same local saw me lose pool quite a lot to Spider of Coronation Street;

Same local was also frequented by Peter Crouch;

Accidentally opened a door into Neil Kinnock's face;

Bought Arthur Pendragon a pint;

Accidentally queued up in the queue to meet Alex Ferguson, when all I wanted to do was buy a paper. Nearly at the end of the queue by the time I realised, I decided to get to the end, apologise and tell him I only wanted to buy a paper before bogging off.

Well it was in London..

Was young(ish!), naive, and hadn't been to London much. Turned up for a job interview a mere five hours early so as not to be late, thought this was what all the queues were like down there.

Didn't even notice the massive red bus outside with nubile busty beauties shouting at passers-by to come and meet Ferguson:facepalm:

As for Cov players/staff.

Saw oggy hitting balls at Brandon golf course.
Met nuddy at my dads work as we shipped over all his stuff back and forth from Zimbabwe.
I use to work at a golf course in Birmingham and met mcsheffrey, strachan, Lee hendrie, jay bothroyd and even Matt Dawson had a game. And Gareth Barry who actually came across the best.
Had a chat with Andy thorn in the Ricoh casino funnily enough getting hammered.
Saw Aron gunnarson at the megabowl showcase.

Harry Redknapp at work, had a chat with him after QPR had beat chelsea 1-0 the night before and to quote: "I have no idea where it came from" lol.

Teddy Sherringham and his model Mrs/GF on a cruise (Queen Victoria IIRC)

Graeme Souness, again work. Eddie Howe and Callum Wilson at work.

Justin Lee Collins in Bristol centre.

Surprised you didn't get pregnant just by being in the vicinity.
