Their owners are far better for football than that tosser at Forest.
They're far better people than the tosser at Forest, but I'm not sure their input into the game is good for football. It's good for Wrexham Football Club, but that is not necessarily the same thing.

They've taken a club and completely inflated it with income; financial doping, really. That causes an imbalance with the clubs they are competing with, who just cannot match that income; you may disagree, but I don't consider that a fair advantage. They also massively inflate the market value of players, because they can afford to throw money about without consequence, and so overpay. That has a knock-on effect and again has a negative impact on their direct rivals.

This has all been done before, of course; Bournemouth 10 or 15 years ago, and much more egregiously by the likes of Chelsea and Manchester City.

I'll admit to being personally a bit annoyed by them because of the nauseating coverage they get, but even looking at it objectively, I don't think what they are doing is good for football as a whole.

That is the end of the Sutton story and thank fuck for that
I thought that might happen after Norwich lost to NL about 10 years ago (especially given the massive gulf between top flight and non-league by then compared to when we lost), but no-one seems to remember that one.

However, this may be the one. Palace were the current holders, which makes it a much bigger deal. Still expect to see and hear Sutton mentioned though.

Macclesfield’s achievement is far more impressive first of all as a 6th rather than 5th tier side, but because the financial gulf was off the scale and Palace were the holders. They were full value for the win too, not like Maidstone a few years ago.

Arsenal fans singing "set piece again ole ole" when their over use of them is a reason they fall apart each year.

Have the broadcast rights changed this year? It now seems that terrestrial TV has a very small minority share of live matches. The authorities once again doing their best to belittle one of the greatest domestic club cup competitions in the world.

It is shit isn't it.
TNT have it. Pretty much nothing on terrestrial or free to air. Including the biggest shock in FA Cup history.

I noticed that. Only one game on BBC yesterday. I swear they used to have the early kick off as well
