How has Ricky Adami managed to fraud his way as a race engineer for so long? He's absolutely screwed Lewis over there.

Genuinely, the bloke is a proper symptom of Ferrari's ingrained incompetence.

Great lap by Lando, kept it clean. Scrappy session from Piastri. Genuinely can't call the race tomorrow with the two stop.

Think Brundle just nailed it, “I can’t work out whether this is fascinating or just too chaotic”.

Definitely more interesting than last year at least

Yeah, I don't know what to make of it yet. I don't think it comes as a shock most teams are using one driver to build a gap for the other one.

Don’t mind them trying stuff, especially for a race like Monaco but don’t think this is the answer.

Seeing what Williams are doing is ridiculous for example, even though I don’t blame them at all. They’re just making the most of it.

Messy as ever. Think Russell had a point about Albon excessively slowing being dangerous. Thought was a maturer drive from Norris as we've seen. Again it's a nonsense he's having to deliberately slow down because of the race leader doing the same - it's like a permanent safety car restart.
But the issue as always is it's a stupid track. It's a nonsense when you've got a couple of seconds covering the first 4 cars for a load of laps and there's no chance of an overtake

Yeah I'm normally pretty sentimental about historic aspects of sports but Monaco can do one. I understand the prestige of it for the drivers but I simply don't care, fed up of hearing how the glitz and glamour make it one of the best weekends. For 99% of fans watching at home it's awful other than quali. It wouldn't quite as bad if there was at least some DRS overtakes but the home straight's way too short for that.

Clinically smooth agian from Piastri, whereas Lando did a Lando on his final lap...

Piastri reminds me quite a bit of Raikkonen in his McLaren stint, not only blisteringly fast, but so calm with it you'd think his veins have ice flowing through them.

What’s more shocking, that or a Sauber in 6th (now 5th)?

I am genuinely still shocked by Max though. Questionable racing moves is one thing, deliberately driving into a rival because you’re throwing a paddy is very much another. Needs points on his licence and a penalty for Canada.

Rosberg on comms. adamant he should've been black flagged for that. Bloke is a spoiled nepobaby. Shame he's a great driver. Looking fwd to seeing Horner try and defend it, the smug pr*ck.

3 penalty points for Max. Puts him on 11 for the twelve month period, one away from an automatic ban. Honestly, I don't think he could have any argument if they'd given him twelve in one go today.

What penalty did they give Seb years ago, when he deliberately crashed into Lewis because he thought he’d brake tested him? Don’t recall it being that harsh, but may be wrong.

From memory, a ten second stop/go, so realistically, including the time on the pit limiter, that equates to about 30/35 seconds. Which was then somewhat offset anyway because Lewis had an issue with his headrest and had to pit to have it fixed.
