If next weekend is anything similar to this one then McLaren are surely going to have to throw their weight behind one driver else they run a real risk of Max sneaking in and pinching the title and if he does, it will surely be the greatest comeback in the history of the sport.
I think I've changed my mind, I actually think it would be funnier if Lando won the title now. Oscar shitting the bed, Max on a barn storming charge with all the momentum and Lando to pip them both in the last race after being so underwhelming would be hilariousEven as a lifelong McLaren fan it would be pretty funny if Max won.
All Lando has to do is not drive into the back of Max tomorrow and he should do fairly well in terms of the championship…
Think this race has all but confirmed my love for F1 has gone. Steward’s are an absolute joke.
In Lando's hands now. He needs to go grab it. Had my doubts about him, but to be fair he's kept plugging away whilst Oscar flounders.
F1 trying to create a broader championship battle. The fact Max hasn't got a penalty out of any of that is a joke.
They are pathetic.Agreed
That was set for a grandstand finish with Max on Leclerc and Oscar on Bearman, and they absolutely ruined it
Overall though, they all bunch up closer, 35 points between the 4 of them, 4 races and 2 sprints to go

Strange driver Norris - that Dutch retirement looked like it had finished his challenge. Still think his major weakness is his starts and lap one driving - something Verstappen excels at and Piastri had been very good at. Puts himself in bad positions that he struggles to recover from - that can make him take stupid risks.I cant quite remember a championship leader having quite the Fall off Piastri has had. He seems absolutely cooked, a real surprise as he looked so laid back up until Monza
Im having to eat some humble pie on Lando also, its well known i always found him mentally weak with poor racecraft, but when it matters he has shown some great mental strength and has found another level with his speed
I still feel whichever of the 2 wins the title is the weakest world champion since Villeneuve in 97, but youve got to say its looking very much like Lando will be the man
Bit of a one-off last year with the weather - yellow and red flags.Wowzers, what have Red Bull done to the car?
Mind you, he started about there last year and won with ease, so he's still not out of it. Car looked an absolute dog though.
