I agree. They seem to forget about Max.That’s good. When they put 2 on McNut Max will have room to pot a couple
I'm sure we won't,but cannot take Exeter for granted, they have had a good season, played well the other night against Lincoln and lost at Wembley in the playoff final last year, i'm sure they won't want to repeat that again.,to get promoted we need to be at our best and give them sh't.
...........want to face McNulty! Read through their fans forum. They really sound a nervous bunch! Pansies!
The 'Who will we be playing' match day thread
Level headed? there's some right roasters on thereBit harsh, comes across as a level headed thread to me - all we’re saying is that mcnulty looks good and we’ll need to watch him - pretty obvious stuff.
Like your username by the way, all the best posters name themselves after an ex-player’s head.
Would agree, they would be stupid to not be worried about McNulty but agree we can be opened up.Bit harsh, comes across as a level headed thread to me - all we’re saying is that mcnulty looks good and we’ll need to watch him - pretty obvious stuff.

To be fair they could all be alter egos of yours what with amount of bollocks they are spouting. Why don’t you join the forum then David to add some much needed gravitas and thought?

"Under estimate Exeter"? They'll be favourites, surely?Let's not under estimate Exeter. I think it will be a great final. If we can play like we have in the two games against County we won't be far off.
Players need a couple of days off, ice baths and massage and some stretching. Pick it up about Wednesday. Come In City!!!
Four of us stood on their 'Big bank' for the fixture down at St James. The chant of "It's all your fault, it's all your fault" had us chuckling a bit."Glad we're playing Coventry, Have Coventry still got that dodgy keeper?"
ha.
Bookies have us as favourites at Wembley... I could well be wrong (and correct me if i am) but that’s a first?"Under estimate Exeter"? They'll be favourites, surely?
Quite a few on there seem to have high hopes! Considering they've scored the same amount of goals as us and conceding 7 more, there's a fair few who seem to think they'll out do us in BOTH departments!
It's strange how many fan groups look at us and (because of our history) automatically assume were Billy big bollocks attitude and above ourselves and are owed the win, yet the last couple of weeks I think the Notts county fans are the ones with a massive chip on their shoulders and now it looks like Exeter too!
Maybe for the fans, and hopefully players too, that this is 2nd time lucky (bit like Oxford last year). Maybe they think they're better than us over 90mins and 2nd time round are more prepared and ready for it than we are?! Maybe that's our advantage? Who knows?
Last year they played in front of around 20k. Imagine them stalling like a rabbit in the headlights when they hear 40k Sky Blue Army in the stands! That would be lovely!
At least the pigeons can relax a bit nowWhatever happens it should be a great game of football. Imagine how bad Lincoln vs Notts County final would have been!
Didn't go to the home fixture, went away. Would have to disagree - Thought they were the slightly better of two average performances. We played them twice, and on both occasions we were the better team imo.
some of you guys are kids, every opponent is the devil etc
Have we ever lost at Wembley? :emoji_laughing:

Scorer Wayne Clarke. Stinking hot day with around 50,000 Sky Blue fans. As Sills said, 'if we could get just half that figure to regularly come to HR, we would have such an atmosphere.'1987 Charity Shield. Everton 1-0
Doh!! I forgot about that! :emoji_tired_face:1987 Charity Shield. Everton 1-0
Was a damp squib of a day that. Really flat and we just didn't perform.Scorer Wayne Clarke. Stinking hot day with around 50,000 Sky Blue fans. As Sills said, 'if we could get just half that figure to regularly come to HR, we would have such an atmosphere.'
