Forgetting Leo Østigård, or attending loads of games when no-one was allowed to go?

Or both?
Ha! Yeah I thought it might’ve been then but didn’t have the power of my convictions…
I’m gonna therefore say both.

Probably at England age group, I don’t think Harry Kane was ever at Chelsea.
I had a total brain fart so must be England Youth then. I remembered he was wearing another London Team's top in a photo when he looked about 10 but thinking now it must have been Arsenal and not Chelsea. He was always at Tottenham having looked at Wiki and must mean he was a gunner fan at one point

Yes, Harry was an Arsenal fan.

£17 is crazy from when he was with us. I have to admit I haven't watched his growth at Genoa but I know who I would rather want out of him and MVE.

I'm glad he's doing well for himself though and obviously was raw whilst with us

Norton-Cuffy has turned into a very good player, better than most of us probably expected, and while there might not be much between them these days in terms of being the better player, MVE brings much more to the table by being the centre point for the team spirit that clearly exists amongst the players.

I agree. MVE is a much better fit at Coventry and BNC, whilst might be close in ability now I don't know, would not be the one I would chose

BNC was good and my memory might be failing but he did well in the play off final when he came on, the bloke we signed from Man City if loan that season was fucking useless and couldn’t even lift the ball off the floor

i bumped into david busst today. i was getting off a train in euston this morning, and realised he was alongside me, so i said hi.
we were heading in the same direction, so ended up getting the tube to victoria together.
really, really nice guy. good company.
and he reminded me it was 30 years since his injury. 30 years!!

Wilson Esbrand has had a complete tail off in his career after us, the post above sent me looking.

23/24 Played 22 matches split between Reims and Cardiff
24/25 Stoke on loan and played 6 matches
25/26 Radomiak in Poland and played 8 matches

Looks to be at a real crossroads in his career this summer, another bad move and he will have barely played in 3 years.

He wasn't very good while he was here TBF

He was one of our better players in the play off final and the last few weeks of the season I agree. However I think it was rose tinted end to the season which is remembered more than the majority of his time with us. He reminds me of Madueke in terms of willing to run but his final ball was crap

That was 3 years ago though. His experience since then means he will not be the same player we had back then, just as Ayari isn't the same player we had on loan either. How much have you seen of him these last couple of seasons?

I did state that I'm sure he's grown and I haven't watched his career since leaving us in an earlier response.

I agree he must be doing well if Everton are willing to spend £17m on him.

He seemed like a good lad and I remember he was loving the scenes after the Boro semi final.

I'm glad he's doing well

He’s had a bit of a weird career. Feels like he’s always moving up or down a division (including 22 appearances in the prem). It’s like he / clubs can’t work out what level he actually is.

I mean really he should score plenty in L1, even with Martin as manager.
