When Salford and Newport supposedly wanted him, maybe he wants to go part time so he can work on his business through the week easier.

They’re full time, the only club in the league who are…

Chance for him to play in the Champions League which I can't see him getting anywhere else. Probably drawn in by the massive qualifying games vs Linfield coming up in July

Would he be on more money with the shrews compared to what we were paying him before the Preston move

I really thought Cian looked class when he was here. I wonder, like Bayliss, if he had stayed and played games, would he now be a championship player(or above) with us or another team.

Yeah, you’d think that’d be the main reason?
My Newport County supporting mate was looking forward to Pask signing for them.

Presumably likes being a big fish in a small pond, like when he was in the 23s here bossing players 5 years younger!

I never really understood why he wasn’t given more of a chance here tbh. Looked decent enough.

Don't Newport have some serious financial problems? Maybe The New Saints pay more?

European football, too

This move probably shows why he wasn’t…the rest of teams in the league are part time

Well, they certainly have had some major problems but thought he was nailed on to sign for them.
Plus they’ve just sold The Ginger Prince for £12.3 million to Northampton!

It's the only televised football I've seen where, looking at the standard of since of the centre backs, I've thought I've had a chance of playing!

Pask will either stand out or be dragged down...

Did we put a "sell on clause" in the Bayliss transfer, could be in for a windfall

To my embarrassment I’ve never actually been to a welsh league game. I’ll blame this on watching city, working, family, watching paint dry…

I worked in Barry/Vale Glamorgan for a long time; Barry Town were all over the place as a club. Made our travails look like a storm in a tea cup.
They had Akinfenwa playing for them at one stage.

If we did it doesn’t matter as I think he went on a free.

Were you at the Neath / Coventry friendly a few years back? Coleman promised a 'strong team', the announcer had to announce goals by number rather than name as they were so anonymous!

Including 'number nine' AKA Callum Wilson

Perhaps he's happy enough being almost part time himself with his removals business and being a low level footballer

Liam Walsh told he has no future under current Swansea management. They’ve received an enquiry from a League One club.

If it’s Shrewsbury I can’t imagine the meltdown.

Edit: link Swansea City move on to new priority as transfer stance emerges amid interest

I’m of this kind of mindset. He was standout in L1 and there’s definitely a player in there. We talk about needing depth so why not him?

Strange really, you think Swansea’s style would suit a player like him down to the ground. 3 Championship clubs have now discarded him after few games so natural conclusion League 1 is the ceiling of his ability

He was our outstanding player in League 1. He was the player that I think most fans would have said could make the step up. I wouldn’t be disappointed if were in for him.

Pask obviously has some natural talent and fair play to him has a business outside of football.

But you cant help but feel he has no real desire to be really successful at football. Happy to have a football contract where he gets Saturdays off?

To be clear I’d have him as backup for Hamer, or Hamers replacement, not as Hamers replacement.
