Ferguson is thoroughly unlikeable but I respect him a lot with hindsight. Keegan i thought was an alright bloke and an average manager.

The very last team Ferguson won the league with proved his genius for me, i too thought there was a lot of luck beforehand, but that team was nowhere near good enough on paper to win a league.Good cause it wasn’t meant to be about that, just interesting. I don’t like Ferguson and his achievements for me came from trying to buy everyone who ever had a good game v Man Utd, luck (the class of 92), and the one thing I would credit him with- drive and aggression. Clough was a genius, I don’t see Ferguson on the same level tbh

We're certainly going to be going into the World Cup full of confidence. Only next year.At the outset of the tournament I predicted Italy to beat us 1-0 in the final. Wishing I had money on it now. To be honest, though, with how it’s gone it wouldn’t be a disaster to lose the final. France lost the 2016 final and followed that up with winning the World Cup.
