I had previously said BTA over England as was struggling to get remotely interested about the WC and was still on a post Championship winners high.

I'm fully England now. That said I'm not sure if nature will take over if BTA puts them 1-0 up. So if there is a pile on in the pub its been nice knowing you.

He isn't everyones cup of tea, but I wanted to give benefit of the doubt and be happy for Arteta for winning the league but I remembered that he handled the Partey carry on horrifically bad

I think there’s a big difference between actively wanting England to lose and supporting a player who plays for your club.

You can want BTA to have a good game and show what he can do AND England win
