Saw a St George's cross mini roundabout earlier.

Had to pull over and belt out the national anthem with tears in my eyes such was the emotion I felt.

What is it about some protesters that makes them incredibly insufferable?

What, that they won’t be let in for having a flag of the country they live in? I’m not sure if you’re a real person or bot at this stage. I’m hoping it’s the latter as if ‘SBT’ is a real profile, it’s genuinely scary how people like you think! Still it might get you a few likes on here which we know makes your week

I mean, the woman on the door says they’re not allowed in because they don’t let protesters in, not because of the flags. But it’s more that the guy filming it all sounds like a bit of a twerp shouting at that woman about trespassing etc (and then waiting until he’s the other side of the street before calling her a twat)

What national anthem did you sing for the St George’s Cross?

An Englishman, an Englishman and an Englishman walk into a pub. The first is naked and tries to bring in a St George’s cross to cover himself. He is asked to leave. The second is clothed, but uses the St George’s cross of the first one to pretend to be a ghost haunting the patrons. He is asked to leave. The third is the man who asked the other two to leave.

I see Farage announced his great plan for immigration yesterday which includes... sending money to the Taliban.

Also spying on everyone’s bank account in case they’re an immigrant.

Not had chance to look at fully but I did see that his figures for building the secure centres to house immigrants are way off. They would basically need to be the same as a cat 2 prison and we know how much they cost so that's a pretty basic detail to get wrong.

Like he cares about the details.

So you think sending the Taliban money to take people they can radicalise against our way of life is a good idea?

The uk aid budget to Afghanistan ends up in the Taliban pockets anyway

I can't see a problem with this (I know you aren't saying there is one).
Would you not need to have permission from whoever owns the land / lamppost?

Can't imagine the law allows you to just go round putting what you want up anywhere as I'm sure there are plenty of other things people could put up that people wouldn't be happy with, Leicester flags for one!

When two thirds of the country disapprove of how the government is performing shmmeee still finds a way of blaming it on ordinary people instead of the people in charge. To achieve that in the space of a year with a huge majority is frankly extraordinary.

No. As someone political and claiming to be left wing despite all evidence advocating against the only left wing option for government is clown politics.

Spending your time making things up about said government is just pathetic. You are actively working towards electing a Reform government. Because you’re a child and since the man you loved lost you’ve done nothing in the political threads but play pound shop Grendel and pretend to have some moral high ground because you think Kier Starmer can stop a genocide in Gaza.

Edit: And as you’re now carrying your psychosis over to the football side I’ll address that here too. Yes I’m a Labour supporter. Because I’m left wing. I want good things for the vulnerable and poor and a functioning economy. And Labour are the only vehicle for that for a host of systemic reasons.
It was left wing policy to secure a country’s borders pre-1997… It’s worth noting that asylum application approvals were around 2% at this time.

The old Labour grandees would be rolling in their graves seeing immigration at the current levels and the ECHR undermining the sovereignty of Parliament.

People opposing immigration aren’t exclusively right wing and in fact, many people who have been life long Labour/Lib Dem (and the occasional Green) voters are turning on this issue.

It does irritate me to be caricatured as wanting open door immigration, let everyone in etc. I too don’t want our country reliant on cheap foreign labour.
