I call bullshit. This is what they said. Some quotes from their manifesto. That’s not really true. Boris won the 2019 GE by a massive landslide and therefore a massive mandate. Part of their manifesto was to change immigration requirements post Brexit to what let in so many people in. Side stepping all that people didn’t know what they voted argument I think the truth is Boris and his advisers didn’t have a clue what they were doing and what their policies actually meant in real terms. Just think how much worse those figures from 2020 onwards would have been had Covid not landed curbing mobility. It should be a lesson on trusting politicians, especially those with word salad slogans offering dumbed down solutions to complicated problems.
Seen on X that Muslims are raising the Islam flag in Luton to be ABOVE the england flag
I find it hard to keep track these days. Seems like only a couple of weeks ago we were being told that flying flags anywhere and everywhere was a great thing and anyone who took a flag down was a disgrace. They need ripping down.

Sounds like you’re getting triggered?I'm sorry, maybe it's just me, but there shouldn't be any other countries flag flying in England other than the union jack or St George flag. It's disrespectful in my opinion.
Probably had this debate on here before, but you wouldn't see an English flag in Pakistan would you. Just saying
Thing is if it was a US one or Israel one I'd stand in solidarity, but not an islam one.I'm sorry, maybe it's just me, but there shouldn't be any other countries flag flying in England other than the union jack or St George flag. It's disrespectful in my opinion.

Well let's hope it's more than a big if.If true (big if) I can’t help but think the subtext is exactly the same albeit from the opposite end of the spectrum. If they were pulled down it would be ‘proof’ that racism is rife and start off something bigger.
Well let's hope it's more than a big if.
Be a really stupid thing to do and would probably just cause riots on the streets
A stupid thing to do to raise another country's flag deliberately over the England flag.Stupid to take down other countries flags in England but probably cheer the England flags being taken down?
Games gone.

I reckon just let them keep adding to the lamposts and see who can end up higher until there's a 50m lampost made from scaffolding.
Didn't know that's where you were, knew it was a distance away, but not Folkestone. Remember going there as a kid. Can't remember much but I know we went on the Romney, Hythe and Dymchurch railway and the Leas liftThere are other stories out there. Two sides to every coin and all that. That's not to say there aren't bad people come over though of course.
Napier Friends
We received this lovely letter from a neighbour of Napier, we know the sentiment echoes the feelings of so many people in our local area, people quietly getting on with their lives and coexisting in...www.facebook.com
I live in Folkestone and it is a lovely place, it has to be said.
Hardly any flags gone up either. I think we have seen 4 in total across the town. Not trying to make a point on the flags, just saying there are a lot of kind, caring people here. It's quite different from Dover, that's just down the road.
Just wanted to paint the picture as a backdrop.
It's just nice to see some nice stories can be found
