No he didn't, he looked like someone coming in late to a game that was long since decided. He literally won us the last game he started. He looked completely lost.
Divisive how! Explain
Yep please do.You seriously need me to explain?
He got his internet points for the day.You seriously need me to explain?

Nobody is saying he's amazing but the hate is ridiculous. He's just an average Champ striker who does have the physical attributes to improve, seems a real confidence player too. Most strikers in this league are streaky as fuck.
Pot kettle black. You feed off likes from the usual slugsHe got his internet points for the day.
oh dear.Pot kettle black. You feed off likes from the usual slugs
Yep please do.
How is saying the obvious trolls and chip on the shoulder crew have egg on their face can now just admit they were wrong and move on divisive? What show me where they have a foot to stand on?
Literally didWon us the game against Luton?
A tap in, from one yard out? After missing how many sitters? You’re clutching.Literally did
I don’t really see the urgency to sell him unless he’s agitating to leave - we wouldn’t get a great price for him at the moment and whoever we replaced him with would also have to be content with being a backup. Our striker options are perfectly adequate for a system with only one centre forward, and we score goals for fun anyway.
Most of the actual valid complaints were listened to, acted on and rolled back by the club. You can't really complain about that. I'd say the loudest moaners are just holding a grudge at this point, if that's wrong then I'd love people to say what it is. I honestly can't think of a time in my 30+ years supporting the club where so much is positive.Trolls? Whether you agree with them or not, many of them are long term supporters who disagreed with decisions King made.
No issue with you startinga divisive thread I'd that's how you feel, but hugely hypocritical of you to then get on your high horse when people start criticising Simms with your 'on a day like today" bolloocks....in my opinion.
Which won us the gameA tap in, from one yard out?
Exactly, he isn't half as bad as people make out.I think I witnessed him in good positions at least three times and nobody thought to get the Ball to him, but we were in coasting mode by then, he'll still be handy to have around for when he's needed, and he will be.
You can take your fekkin happy clapping to the Leicester forum, they love a bit of it over there. The posts here are not even moaning or criticising, just looking at how we move forward.
This forum is so sensitive to anything but happy clapping.
No negativity apart from you telling sheaf to fuck off on a different thread. Nice to see your true colours still showing. Not the day for any negativity, but these over-corrections are a bit silly.
At present we can do a lot better than Simms.
But what does he have, he struggles to control the ball, his heading ability is very poor at best, he drops us in it when the ball bounces off him and his shooting is not exactly great, he is a big lad and doesn't seem to have the knowledge within himself on how to use his size..sure he seems a nice guy but nice guys don't tend to win games for you. I don't think virtually anyone would be sorry to see him go and if and when he does go I hope that club suits him because we have outgrown him at an alarming rate !Why do we look to offload players ? It's a squad game and a lot of clubs would like a player like Simms on the subs bench
I think we all want him to score and get some confidence but there's just no sign of it happening, unfortunately. I feel he needs a fresh start somewhere, maybe in a team that plays a bit more on the break.I think Lampard probably wants to move him on. I know Wright was on a hat-trick today and BTA was playing well but how long it took for him to come on when we were already 7-0 up felt like a sign his time here is up. Desperately wanted him to score today but wasn’t to me. I imagine he will start on Tuesday. Maybe that will be one last chance to show something before the end of the window.

It’s v odd behaviour. The strikers have 6 goals in 4 games games and people are still saying we need a striker…“Not the day for any negativity, but” … my all time favourite opening line we ever see on this forum.
7 v 1 on the day we purchased the stadium … get me on that Simms thread, lads …

Yes it looked like chalk and cheese compared to Haji, who had one of his best games for us - getting his fitness back, it seems. However, our entire formation and supply had changed when he came on, up front as a lone striker, with literally no-one to pass to when he was through into the box (was that another amazing long ball from Kitching, who is starting to specialise in those?), as opposed to playing 2-3-5 in the first half.He looked completely lost.
There was people that took a dislike to him pretty early on for some reason.Always found the simms hate weird. In fact hating on any player is weird but to then get angry because some people don't hate a player is even weirder.

The guy had a 19 goal season for us the season before last so clearly can score. It's down to the manager and coaches to get the best from him.
