Spoke to someone i know at the club today, he used to give me bits of info but the last few years said nothing. Anyway, all i got from him today was (what we sort of already know).

If this takeover does not happen we are in deep shit, SISU can't/won't fund anymore and the club doesn't have the money to keep us going.

If by Jan the sale has not gone through, then it's sale time and nothing we can do about it.

I said if King is so sure the club is his could he not do a bridging loan etc to keep them going.

He said the club doesn't want to do that as if things go tits up it's more debt on them and they can't risk it.

We really need the EFL to get a move on with this by the sounds of it.

It's the waiting after the hope of a bright future cruelly with the possibility of having it snatched away from us.

All playing nicely in to MA’s hands

Yeah true, if King doesn’t buy us then perhaps Mike Ashley should be able to pick us up at a reasonable price.

What I don’t understand is if we are that much in the shit and SISU need out then why are they so firm on expecting top dollar… Simon Jordan said they were asking for stupid amounts

I honestly don’t think Doug King is a frontman for Mike Ashley… how can it be that much of a coincidence that Doug King who shares an office building with SISU is the front for Mike Ashley

Doubt he's a front for either MA or Sisu.

Well the position we are in and with three players collectively worth up to £30million.
At the moment Doug King is in pole position nothing as yet to say different

I believe Jordan said they were asking for 'slightly' more than the club is worth.

If King believes hes bought the club and he is 100% clean and sure the EFL will ok the deal. theres nothing to stop him putting some money in now, with an agreement that should it fall through then the club can sell a player to refund him.

The EFL aren't going to say no

The club are not going to hold a fire sale and devalue what they are now trying to sell.

We all have our sources

This is why I said I won't be celebrating until it's a done deal.

ffs we are not going into admin
1 sale of gyokores prevents that
the risk is the same of our big names however at maybe cut prices versus being able to hold on or at least get big money to reinvest
