Small boat crossings are down ~25% this year compared to the same period last year.

Ah yeah, you mean other than the last couple of weeks where it rained every day for over 2 months?

Let's see how we get on with some better weather.

I am by no means defending Johnson and Hancock but they will just argue that they had to balance the other consequences of a stronger intervention. Although Britain's economic performance has lagged behind a lot of Europe anyway.

Probably be bottom of my list of PM and health secretary combos I’d want in a global pandemic/huge health emergency but there’s a load of arse covering, group think and finger pointing going on

I want to know

Have we sorted out pandemic planning and supply chains for a future pandemic ?
Cost* v benefit analysis of each lockdown (excluding first one) - would not having lockdown led to more deaths or just delayed them etc
What type of lockdowns were most effective - would we have been better to focus on ring fencing/protecting those most at risk
A breakdown of where the government spent money, was it in the right areas, where was waste/fraud etc
What underlying conditions worsened the affect and did general health and fitness come into play with severe cases
Comparisons of natural immunity v vaccine (did those who’d already had Covid need vaccine and if so at what point in time post catching it)

Without some or all of the above the inquiry will be a waste of time and money. I don’t have much faith though, we’re a country of navel gazers, complainers and finger pointers….not do’ers

*costs being like to kids schooling, mental health, other health issues, economy, government spending etc

Looking back now some of the rules were crazy. The zones, not being let in certain venues unless you showed youd had the vaccine even though you could still catch the virus and pass it on, only being allowed to go to pubs if you ordered food etc etc. It’s hilarious but also infuriating and quite sad looking back. The inquiry will probably ignore all this bollocks though

Never forget Schofield hugging through some plastic.

Can go in a pub and sit down but if you stand up you need a mask.

Most of it was just people making things up for shits and giggles.

They let 80,000 into Wembley for the Euros but I wasn’t allowed 70 vaccinated people at a wedding.

Remember Dr Hilary & his Mrs choreography on how to hug someone. It was embarrassing & sinister.

Maybe don't do interviews with cranks who hold awful views - views that you yourself called out on another thread just hours ago.

Once again it's always amusing when you end up arguing against yourself because you forget what you've previously written.

What’s really funny is that you literally are the only person now on the forum who defends the turd Starmer

I'm literally not. But this is nothing to do with defending Starmer.

It's just a few hours ago you were claiming someone was racist for being anti Zionist, now you're crying that someone has been suspended for sharing a platform with an anti Zionist.

Make your mind up.

I don’t vote Labour. It’s a broad church according to Starmer isn’t it?
