Who says the right can't do comedy.

Quite ironic though as working class people take the piss out of her for being working class. Much rather lick some toff boots I guess.
What is you obsession with calling everyone that doesn't agree with you "right wing", or "the right"? Its a bit weird if im being honest. I bet you use the word Nazi at least twice a week, the word racist daily, and the word fascist regularly?

Its funny, as the country becomes woker, ordinary people who have voted Labour most of their lives that have just had enough of the same old shit, are now classed as "right wing" or "racists" for wanting change. All it does it actually pushes people further right. For instance, the flags. People are now doing it out of principal. After Brum council cut them down and people branded them Nazis, it pushed more and more people to retaliate.

Growing up id of classed myself a Labour supporter. The older I got, id say i became very centre. I could see myself agreeing with either side and was very much a swing voter. I eventually became Centre/Right. But the more people have called me racist and right wing, the further right I've actually become, in protest against idiots that have branded me right wing anyway. Im not alone in these thoughts either. The left pushed people in to voting for Brexit, and didnt learn that lesson, and are now pushing Reform to the forefront too.

I'm not using it to describe anyone that doesn't agree with me.

I'm using it to describe people... on the right.

The person I responded to is one of the most right wing posters on here.

What's your obsession with calling everyone who doesn't agree with you woke? 🙄

What will proper Brexit look like, in your view? Wasn't this it?

Boris was a fucking useless idiot, he ran a campaign on the brilliantly simply slogan of "get Brexit done" then won an 80+ seat majority, then sat back and delivered absolutely fuck all. He completely failed to deliver a single manifesto pledge.

Just look at his legacy, somehow he was instrumental in turning a massive tory majority into a 80 seat Labour majority!!!

By any standard, that takes some fucking doing.

Eventually he was forced out by his anti Brexit backbenchers, many of whome owe their seats to his promises of delivering the kind of Brexit the electorate voted for.

What a sad time in British political history.

I literally haven't called a single person woke. I said the nation is getting woker, never named a single person, though, and called them woke. Try again, though.
I've read 2 of your posts on here today, however, and in both, you've referred to "the right"!

We havn't had Brexit, the country voted for it, but both political parties where vehemently against it, as was our civil service, and so no Brexit was ever delivered.

Some people are quietly waiting for a new political party to come into office and attempt to actually deliver what the people voted for, while half the population smuggly think that Brexit failed as they dont have the intelligence to know any different.
You need to listen to our partners in Europe you wanted something that wasn’t possible

So me referring to a right wing poster as on the right is tarring everyone with the same brush, but you referring to the entire nation is not calling a single person woke? 😅

Anything is possible Pete, just look what Poland is doing right now, look what they are achieving without even having to leave the EU.

Although us leaving has undoubtedly allowed Poland to have more freedom to act unilaterally, the last thing Brussels wants is another member state to leave, which was what Poland looked like doing.

That is tragic. You’ve abandoned your centrist beliefs to become right wing because of others’ thoughts. Have more confidence in what you believe.

There's a theory that he was ball's deep in it to mask the fact that his party were flooded with Russian money,a bit like farage will be?is there any reason to doubt this?
What evidence is there for that?
Without any evidence I'd say there's every reason to doubt it.

There's no doubt that come the next general election certain parties will start slinging spurious allegations, so I think the legal big wigs will be kept very busy.

The accusations aimed at Reform are more likely to centre around Farage's political relations with Trump than with Putin.
And Starmer's relations with Ukrainian rent boys (notice how that's gone very quiet?)

1 post wasn't directed at a poster on here. It was about "the right" having a meltdown over Rayner.
I also said the nation is becoming woker, not that the entire nation is woke. But hey ho.

Either way, i dont think we'll come to an agreement tonight, and im going out for a curry as my parents are up for the weekend. So im going to bow out of this one for now. Enjoy your evening whatever you have planned.

Is it that I've become right wing/racist as I've got older? Or is it that I've been called right wing/racist that many times now, I just assume i am? like I said, so many ordinary, everyday people are so fed up of the status quo and now voting differently and being branded right wing and fascist because of it. When in reality, theyre not.

An election wasn’t called in the year of the 3 PMs, it won’t be called because of a Cabinet resignation.
I’ve not made the claim this will trigger an election. My view is that this autumn budget will go down like a lead balloon and the bond markets could lash out against us again, that really would put the government on the ropes.

Frankly, the Tories should’ve called an election after the Boris was ousted. In fact, the tories probably regret getting rid of him.

Thick fuckers like me, oh duffer I knew it wouldn’t take you long to pipe up. It’s Friday night go have a few beers and relax, they will help with the anger and tears

No anger or tears here, just laughter at incredibly dumb shits like you. Turkeys voting for Christmas. Anyway, isn't it past your bedtime?

Nurse, quick, he's eating all the crayons again!

Again, the market rebelled furiously against Liz Truss. It brought down her but no election was called.

Looking solely at the financial markets position, I genuinely don’t see where the government can go. If they cut welfare spending significantly they get the political pressure of acting against their members’ (and many MPs’) beliefs. If they raise main taxes they break a manifesto pledge. If they borrow more they are even more beholden to the markets. And if they cancel infrastructure spending they can kiss goodbye to any economic growth.

In short, we’re fucked.

The result of 14 years of running the country on the cheap is then being left with an even bigger mess to deal with that has considerably bigger financial and societal costs compared to having just kept up to speed in the first place.

I didn’t realise it was this simple 😮
Which ultimately begs the question why we have had such regular shift in government in the last fifty years 🤷‍♂️

I can't tell if you're being facetious or not, but it's like anything in life. If you put off the cost of maintaining anything, or cut corners regularly, you end up paying it back with interest when it comes back to bite you.

In this case, there's been secondary societal damage caused by neglecting virtually all public services, ignoring the cost of living, suppressing wages etc etc which is now causing serious problems.
