I'm sure if Palestine Action members sent death threats to MPs they wouldn't be proscribed.

Right. I’m sure it’s all shadowy this and scary that and not just a few activists didn’t consider the implications of causing £7m of damage to the UK military.

According to Rayner they are paying taxes and in the military at 16 (although she did omit they need a letter from their parents to do so)

All the argument for this are so stupid. Everyone pays taxes! Only NI starts at 16, if your five year old earns £100k/yr they’ll pay the same income tax as you or I.

I am surprised what is going on in Syria hasn't got more attention. Especially as we have just given them a load of money as well.

I know there are a lot of atrocities going on at the moment, but it is not looking pretty there at all.

Specifically what? Do you mean Israel attacking it or do you mean the former terrorist running the country?

No-one cared or protested when civilians were being bombed, gassed and other chemical warfare during Assad's time so not really a surprise anyone cares now. As to the speed and willingness of govts to accept the new regime (despite their background) well we'll see how well that pans out. After all no-one seems to care what the Taliban are still doing in Afghanistan either - haven't seen many protest rights demanding govts support the various sections of society there being oppressed or killed.

Not specifically aimed at you as it's happening all the time now on this thread. Can we stop with this thing that nothing but Gaza has ever seen anyone taking any action or demonstrating

From memory these were people not wanting UK to bomb Isis/isil targets in Syria after they had "invaded" - nothing to do with the civil war. There were a miniscule number of protests and protesters compared to anything we've seen recently.

That’s nice but that’s not what the law says.

This is the issue with terrorism people think it means “really bad stuff (probably done by Muslims)” and it doesn’t. The definition has been posted multiple times.

And again “spray painting planes” is a lie. I’ve shown it’s a lie. You keep repeating it because “a bit of assault and ramraiding and throwing smoke bombs at evacuating staff” doesn’t help your terrible point.
Stop being such a patronising twat, you're becoming the new MMM. It's probably time to recognise that the definition of terrorism as defined by the terrorism act is not the same as the general public's.

I’m only patronising because people keep making the same shit arguments that make no sense. Who cares what your personal definition of a law is?

When the definition of a law is being stretched for political ends, that's cause for concern. If you read through the list of 81 organisations, PA is a massive outlier. Criminals? No argument. Terrorists? Bullsh*t.

Law has had to change since then not that I wouldn’t be happy being arrested for aligning with their cause

It’s fine Pete, Israel break international law, commit war crimes and declare their desire to ‘conquer and cleanse’ Gaza, but the real terrorists are the ones here.

Might makes right

It’s not right it’s abhorrent and we need those with leverage to use it including us in whatever way we may have any power
