They’re also busy fucking up power sharing at the moment arguing with every other party over how a the £2.5B budget should be spent with economics that would make Truss blush. They simply don’t want a return to power sharing. Hopefully they get wiped out at the next GE and assembly elections so adults can get on with running Northern Ireland.

Hardly. Quite a weird take to be honest. I was talking about the country's descent into fascism in 2019. You only noticed it in 2022 it seems.

2019? No I think it started with the Brexit debates.

Say what you like about Starmer but the one thing he’s 100% right about is Sunak is completely tone deaf to the reality of living in Britain.

Yeah but Starmer has no idea what it’s like to be a multimillionaire in California, so swings and roundabouts.

I’d much rather see Starmer say stuff like this when he speaks than some of his recent immigration statements for example.

He thinks delaying the election is doing his party a favour. They’re going to get ripped apart.

Likewise. Pity that some of the main ones have got out while they can. Is Sunak’s seat in any danger?

Shame that he’s also adopting the ‘growth’ buzzword from the former 5 minute PM

I thought it was strange that Starmer had a dig about Trump in his speech the other day.
For a man not know for sticking his head above the parapet seemed a bit bold given they could be working together soon

It’s hardly a surprise, he’s completely out of touch with the reality that most people face - probably more so than any other PM in recent history.

one of the Tory MPs were complaining about immigration, etc on similar lines. And his constituency is 98% white British , 98% English speaking, etc.

Edit. My figures are slightly out but the sentiment remains.

Well it's pure naked racism. Absolutely disgraceful and let's say a bit more of an indicator of facism than that silly survey about nightclubs.

Looks like there’s another by-election happening. Scott Benton to be suspended for 35 days triggering a recall petition. Sunak might as well call a GE in the new year. The longer this goes on the worse it’s getting for the Tories.

it's pretty clear from the language used by Benson that paid for lobbying is rife, he's so casual with it

Last three MPs are Leon Brittan, William Hague, and Sunak. It's a seat they parachute their high flyers into, it's so safe.
