Damned if they do, damned if they don’t. After confidence vote (and rules currently in place) all eyes on cabinet to do the right thing

Leaving it this long does look a bit shit, though.

Will be funny to see who else jumps quick now, mind, to make sure they look principled too.

Dorries to quit by mistake?

Too late to look honourable in my eyes.
They've been complicit in everything this charlatan had been involved in since the day he was elected.

Yeah, not saying it’s particularly honourable of them (let’s be honest most MPs think of themselves first) but do think it’s the right call

It makes no odds to me personally. My opinion of them all couldn't be lower and resigning gives them no kudos in my eyes.
They all knew about this perverts antics.

Sunak resigns saying the public expect a Government that is proper competent and serious. Undoubtedly that is true, but he seems to forget that he has been central to this Government.

Would have respected them so much more had they quit on principle some time back.

Looks very silly now being noble all of a sudden.

Weirdly wouldn't be surprised if the resignations of those pair actually help Johnson in the short term in regard to the public sympathy with him

Public sympathy for a leader who 'forgets' that someone who works for him has sexually assaulted colleagues?

Needs one or two more really after some of the cabinet supporting. Otherwise it will be down to Brady to say ‘we’ll change the rules and you’ll be out anyway so may as well go now’

Incredible isn’t it that it’s Pincher that has brought this about…and not the scandals re proroguing of of Parliament, the economic crisis, PPE mess ups etc etc.
but at least a couple have finally found their spines.
My money for chancellor is Dorries or Larry the cat.
