There have been and continue to be genocide and atrocities everywhere. China and the brutal treatment of its Muslim community. Should we treat them as genocidal maniacs or do we just think they are a bit too important so best say nothing?

Our American friends want to keep funding and arming the Israeli genocide, so we stay silent.

Our Chinese ‘friends’ sell us lots of cheap tat, so we stay silent on their appalling human rights record.

Russia sell fossil fuels to a large wedge of Europe, so they provide some assistance to Ukraine while continuing to guzzle Russian gas.

Western governments make bad foreign policy decisions. Israel is just one of many. Your view seems to be that whatever the British government decides is all above board, I disagree.

Nope as I'm not informed on them and not aware of them.

I'm sure when I've had a read up I'll express my outrage.

Will you express any outrage of what Israel are doing to Palastine considering you are aware of it?

This isn’t the ‘gotcha’ you think it is. The truth is, like Ukraine, you don’t actually care what happens either there or in Gaza. You’ve written as much countless times.

I find it really really odd to be honest. Jumping through hoops not to say its appalling whats happening when most people at a human level can see that the killing of women and children is bad regardless of grown up politics.

He has circled the drain on it by saying that ‘atrocities happen all the time’. This is the problem when your whole online persona is to be an edgelording contrarian, you have to adopt overtly farcical positions to keep up the act.

To say we should just all agree with what the government does on this issue, but no others, is bizarre. Should we just applaud Rachel Reeves’ handling of the economy because she’s the Chancellor?

Said from the start, they broke the law, they were rightfully arrested and will rightfully have prison time.

The criminals I’m on about are in Israel committing ethnic cleansing and war crimes. Our government seems capable of denouncing the vandalism of military equipment, but not calling out Israel’s disgusting war crimes what they are.

It’s almost like geopolitics isn’t just sticking people on blast for likes. You said similar about Starmers relationship with Trump but it’s probably ended up saving Ukrainian lives.

You are treating Israeli policy as if it’s decided in Whitehall, it’s quite mad.

And again by making this your sole purity test you are making a UK government far more supportive of Israel more likely. So just terribly strategy as well.

That is one hell of a leap on Ukraine. Trump has more likely just felt snubbed/played by Putin.

I don’t expect us to change Israel’s mind, they’re hell bent on ethnic cleansing. I just expect us to call it what it is. That’s the bare minimum in terms of human decency.

It’s really not. Starmer and the European leaders have played him very well. You don’t see that because it doesn’t play into your post Corbyn sulk, but it’s true.

So you admit even if it ended up making things worse you just want the UK government to act like an activist on twitter? For what end? The decision Starmer has clearly taken is he can best use his influence trying things like getting aid in than making pointless virtue signals to a bunch of people who decided six years ago they’d never vote for him anyway.

‘Played him’. Well, Netanyahu and Putin have.

You’re copying Grendel’s arguments, I get why he’s making them, but it should make you think.

We side with China as we need them. We deal with the brutal Saudi regime as we need them. We view Israel as strategically vital so we deal with them.

The Yalta agreement was a free pass for Stalin to brutalise and conquer Eastern Europe. I mean for Fucks Sake what would you have done - opposed it?

The world’s a bad place full of bad people. You create alliances with those that suit and that’s it. I think we over blow Israel’s importance but not Saudi and not China.

“Someone who is part of a political cause which aims to cause violence or destruction against the established government”

Political cause. Tick, anti immigration.

Aimed to cause violence and destruction. Tick, doesn’t need an explanation.

Established government, tick. Against government policy of housing asylum seekers in hotels and also against de facto government property as the government is renting said hotel.

She ticks all YOUR boxes. Presumably you’re angry that the government hasn’t declared her or the other people involved terrorist. Unless of course you’re a complete hypocrite and it depends on the political cause. My money is on the latter.
