I guess it's typical 'football is a game of opinions' so I get this may be quite polarizing, but I never understand just casting aside games, namely FA/League Cup. I support Coventry City, not Coventry City in the league. Of course, some games are more important than others, but I will do my best to be at every game I can be. There are no games where I just 'don't care' about. Not expecting a big crowd but this squad deserve every bit of support they can get so I hope a few change their mind closer to the day having had a few games cancelled of late.

Wasnt gonna go to this. But because of lack of games gonna attend will buy on friday...once game is confirmed as on.

Hoping theres more than 3 subs for the FA cup..so most of the team get game time.

Could get exciting with prospect of no replay and a result the day penalties etc.

Think it's a nailed on draw. We win on penalties...As they will be more match fit than us.

Derby given 3,032 tickets in blocks 8, 9 & 10. 2 of the 3 blocks are sold out so looks like they are bringing a decent following.

Haven't predicted for a while so here goes. Derby playing well and getting their rewards. They may fend off relegation, after all they're not down until they're mathematically down. We on the other hand seem to have hit the wall, very hard and face on. After so many weeks without a first team game, I'd be tempted to play the first 11 to get the rust out of their joints. But this could be the ideal opportunity to play with things. Players on the edge given a chance, an alternate formation. Something to pep us up.

Nuts, it's not going to happen, is it ? 1-2 Derby win. Police will outnumber the Cov fans and it's going to rain.

Derby fans saying they should play a full strength team, as they probably will only have a good cup run to look forward to. beat us and possibly a big name draw in the next round. Maybe we should put out a full team to get minutes into players ready to go again in the league

Think this will be a pretty moot argument for both teams in all honesty. 2 small squads, Covid & injuries rife it will be a case of picking whoever is available.

Yes agree we are still struggling with 2/3 players isolating , also a couple of injuries , I would expect Jones and Clarke Salter to get a game and Moore should be back

Got my ticket using the print at home version and it won't print my name or more importantly bloody barcode. GGrrrrrrrrr.

I've got a cunning plan - we'll see if it works. First time I'd tried this option!

Having successfully (after several attempts) proving who I am re: NHS Cov-id pass, the app keeps failing on my phone. Frustrating.
Can we still use that, or is it LFT only now? Cheers in advance.

You can use your covid pass or a negative lateral flow test.

I don't think it was a common sense decision tbh. I guess Boddy or someone has seen the ticket sales figures! It is a money decision.

Your tickets should have a bar code on them as well which will work on your phone screen

Madness to not have pay on the gate.

Imagine how many people might pre-order then test positive and have to then try and get refunds? Wasn't worth the risk.

Thanks BSB - it's driven me round the bend, plus wasted god knows how much ink !!
When my son gets home from school he'll probably crack it within 30 seconds and give me one of his looks.
Will try the phone version as you suggested. Cheers

Normally would suggest a few changes and U23s on the bench but given how many games have been cancelled go pretty much first team.

Would consider JJ alongside o'hare and play Gyo up front, and would give Eccles a run out in place of Kelly.

Of course no-one's sure who is and will be available.

Well, that's me decided.

Casino for 11.30.
CBS for 12.25
Back in the casino for 14.30/15.00/15.30 ( depending on 90 mins/120 mins/penalties), discussing who we want in the fourth round.

I’m away this weekend. Is there a way to watch this online? I’m sure in previous years some betting sites had cup games available to stream. Can’t find anything though

Got our tickets. The sales look horrendous. Whole of block 21 to pick from which is a shocker given 15 and 16 are closed. Unless they’ve all agreed to migrate behind the goal This may be a Wasps attendance around 5,000.

Its on "international TV", so i imagine you will be able to find a stream of it somewhere quite easily, not sure about betting sites specifically though

Cant see more than 8,000 for this one inc away fans.

What an over reaction to the previous home game. Would not surprise by Thursday they realise the sales are poor and do pay on the gate.

MR;

“We need to make sure whatever team we put out goes to win the game, clearly and whatever team goes out to start the game will be determined by the circumstances we’re in at the moment”

Could mean we’ve still got it rife In the squad or could be laying the foundations to start something resembling a second string. I would actually like to see Tavares get a run out, even if it’s just to see some much needed pace in the side.

2-1 city with a very late goal to send us through. Turgid game in pouring rain and both playing their strongest sides available.
