Wagott has already told you that they thought they had that deal in place BUT the selling club changed the terms.......they wanted paying!!!!

You forget Gendel knows it all only he is right (he can pull up the Threads if you like)

Aren't you onto the employment council? I hear sisu have been forcing players down coal mines to dig with their bare hands.

Seems like I'm wrong. Waggott seems to suggest we were trying to sign a player from another club. I really didn't think we were allowed to do that.

Even so, I still think it was a good day. Certainly better than most expected.

The Football League can bend their rules however they like and they've done it to let us sign players provided they meet the wage requirement.

Grendel talks a lot more sense than the no holds barred I don't care, anti Sisu at all costs, will not listen, facts don't matter, I'm in a mood, here me cry, NOPM, bet we lose, always sell, brigade.

There's a lot of drama queens on here for sure, but Grendo doesn't help himself by baiting them out.

Very happy we didn't sell 3 of our best players. Don't understand why anyone would be happy losing them. I'm fairly anti-SISU but credit to whoever kept our squad in tact.

I agree to be fair. But it's easy meat time and time again.

Anyway. You can all swivel.

Just for you Hill

Yeah but he does like a good wind up! 90% weren't happy?! Do me a favour..I'm ecstatic we haven't sold Wilson, Christie, Clarke and Baker..and I'm one of the 90% currently not going to 'home' games...as is he come to think of it! ;)

I'm pleased that i didn't have to go for the nuclear option if we'd sold anybody of having to not spend twice as much money as I'm not spending now.

Sisu be warned!

The only way is up imo, the only teams that have impressed me are Wolves and The Posh, this league has a lot less quality than I expected this season. Hold onto this squad and we finish comfortably mid table

I think what Grendel is saying here is the amount of negative opinion that was so 'certain' we would lose these players - after all it's the devil himself isn't it when talking about SISU - and what they will most certainly do? Especially cashing in right?
Well good news people, it didn't happen and frankly we are all jumping with joy at that one I suspect.
So can we just at least appreciate SISU did not cash in on this occasion and look to be building something strong under Elvis? It may not sit well with your stance against SISU but for once admit it has been a relatively good day for the Sky Blues.

After today I am hoping for more. If we can keep scoring and also sort out our defence nothing is impossible. I have just put a decent bet on us at big odds to get promoted.

Just hope we don't have a mass sale next transfer window.

I agree, but one good day don't make a good season or for all the upset they have caused. It is a good start of trying to sort everything out though.

Face it, 90% on here were desperate for Wilson, Christie, Clark and baker to go.

Now they haven't I can't wait to hear the reasoning - sisu were only offered a bag of crisps for all four and it wasn't even a grab bag.
why come out with such rubbish, i want sisu to go.

Was not expecting them to go as and said it in a thread as the owners would have complety lost face with what is going on around them and the few that do travel to sixfields may have started having 2nd thoughts

I haven't been bothered to read all of another thread full of drivel created by someone sucking upto Sisu !!!!
Very predictable though and with even less intelligence !!!

Appreciate SISU? For not selling the only thing that keeps their investment alive ?

They asked us to go to northampton, we said No. They still went. We didnt. They fecked up . They would be crazy to sell the players that are teasing supporters down the M1

Genuine question, did we bring anyone in?

Nope. Waggott mentioned in summary that we had a deal lined up but the club changed criteria or something to that effect. Pressley mentioned that he wasn't all that bothered by the deadline so it looks like he's got out of contract players in mind.

let's be honest, if even one player was sold yesterday, the website would have crashed from the feral and dribbling anti-sisu brigade wanting to come and post

Do you have any proof they were only offered a bag of crisps?

Tell me Grendal. On what basis do you make the outrageous assertion that 90% wanted these four to go? Do you have access to the minds & views of all Fans?

No, he just likes to cause a stir in a way that will get peoples backs up but won't get him into trouble with Nick. In fairness, its sometimes an enjoyable distraction to see him light the touch paper and wait for the chomps.
