Face it, 90% on here were desperate for Wilson, Christie, Clark and baker to go.

Now they haven't I can't wait to hear the reasoning - sisu were only offered a bag of crisps for all four and it wasn't even a grab bag.

I am happy with how we have kept them. The thing is it isn't too late, there is always a loan until the next window type deal that can be done outside of the window.

But surely that's of no benefit financially to CCFC? The whole point of selling is to get income. Loans may have a fee agreed, but not much.

Tell me Grendal. On what basis do you make the outrageous assertion that 90% wanted these four to go? Do you have access to the minds & views of all Fans?

We will never know if they were offered anything for them and if they did sell anyone it would be undisclosed but a good deal for the club probably a weeks worth of pie money as we can't survive without it. :p

Who did we sign? Let's balance this argument out so which ever way you look at it, yet another shit deadline day for CCFC.

Excellent day potentially and as I have said on other threads increases the percentage of Sisu funding the club losses for 3 years in my opinion to about 10%

"90% on here were desperate for Wilson, Christie, Clark and baker to go." Prove that they all wanted them gone please.

IF we can get a couple of loans or now sign free agents it will be some good dealing, I think Waggot has helped a fair bit as Deluded would have flogged everybody.

If you really believe that you really are the idiot many think you are. If not then you are the WUM many think you are. Either way... what a tool.

Face it, 90% on here were desperate for me to tell the truth for once and admit I am deluded. Well I am deluded, and also proud of the fact.

Though I would correct it for you Grenduffy :D

Our embargo only allows signings of unattached players, who can sign any time. The deadline is unimportant for incoming deals.

Today was a good day, keeping hold of our best players amid plenty of interest is an undoubted bonus.

Come off it day we've looked at posts saying they will sell the family silver, they always do. Now they haven't and the usual suspects are speechless. Tomorrow is another day of course - no one was interested etc. etc.

Do I really need to drag up the quotes from the last 24 hours?

SISU will be trying to keep the squad together to retain those fans travelling to Sixfields and show strength in the face of adversity; just part of the long ACL distress game.

...I know you and your little GMK friends like to come fishing on here and I never like to miss out.

Sisu are in negotiations to sell the club, and the prospective new buyers have insisted no one is sold or bought in. - Only thing that makes sense if you discount Sisu wanting to build a winning team.

Seems like I'm wrong. Waggott seems to suggest we were trying to sign a player from another club. I really didn't think we were allowed to do that.

Even so, I still think it was a good day. Certainly better than most expected.

That we are still sat on negative points, in the third division and playing in Northampton is all courtesy of them. Those 4 players could still be loaned out with a view to permanent moves and even if they aren't it's hardly something to go boasting about.

Don't worry Brighton; it's just Grendel trying to pick a fight.......he's particularly good at that.
