I saw Wilko Johnson supporting Status Quo (Frantic Four) at Wolverhampton about a decade ago or even more. I've never seen a support band ram a venue as much as he did. Proper no nonsense old school front man and great guitarist. . I'm very saddened because despite his terminal diagnosis a few years back I thought it was diagnosed wrongly, so this is a shock.

Saw Wilco a number of times with Dr Feelgood - tik Tok club , Isle of Man TT but my memory of Wilco was when he joined Alex Harvey on stage for a few songs - just electric - just fun !
