Sounds like an interesting read from what I have heard on CWR. Anyone know if it will be on sale in the CCFC shop or just from normal bookshops?

Was put off by him at a legends night at the Jag club a few years back, his language and attitude was awful.

When he was doing the Lounges tour the other week he was keen to point out the book was in large part his recovery from illness- which he blames on the Covid jab 🤫
He was banging on about that in his CCFPA interview podcast. He came across quite well until he went all Matt Le Tissier at the end.

I’ve got the book. Just reading it.

Settling a few scores against people who he perceived wronged him by skating them in this book.

Most interesting so far is the Gary Bennett story (Sunderland- where Bennett Sr grabbed Speedie round the throat)

Apparently Killer (Brian Kilcline to our younger members) wasn’t playing (injured? suspended?) and waited for Bennett in the tunnel and threatened to rip his head off.

Speedie was my ultimate Cov hero. Absolutely superb attitude on pitch and scored some fabulous headers and chipped goals.
Sadly about 4-5 years ago when CWR interviewed him live before game up in Blackburn he randomly started slagging off women's football and women officials. Embarrassed himself and CWR had to cut interview short as he was ranting like a loony.

except when he gave the middle finger to the west terrace perhaps... that was near the end to be fair, but still!

Yes I am one of those younger members - I like the sound of this Brian kilcline fella.

His last minute chipped winner away at Norwich was sublime, it’s the last time I remember beating them as well.

Met him a few times, always ready to chat.
Him and Dean Emerson were at the Dilke Arms in Ryton when I was at an 18th Birthday there (showing my age, its now houses) and came in and joined in the party with us....he liked a drink!

Yeah, I remember that. Was very strange.
