Loved Eustace when I was younger, never wanted him to go.

McSheffrey was never any good, he just had one good season before he left so people had an inflated view of his ability.

Used to love Eustace. Was really impressed with him (and pretty much only him and Kirkland) during our relegation from the Premier League season.

Isn't he a bit old by now? He must be 34?

Eustace was a good player, but I agree with Grendel 34 in midfield?

Could be Martin Cranie but from what I am hearing it is John Eustace. Would be a great signing, the sort of bull dog we need in the middle. And at his age and experience he could 'lead' the team and develop the youngsters.

Then again I can't imagine he would want Eustace AND Prutton?

Yeah, 34 is old but if he has the legs than why not? Could be another Dennis Wise.

I just wonder whether we are one of the clubs who've shown an interest in Isaiah Osbourne. Similar type of player.

Yeah, a lot of my mates used to call him Useless. He was one of those players that didn't really cause any reaction either way for me. The experience would be good.

Many used to call him Useless which was a tad unfair
