Bears Men aren’t doing much better but the Women are through to finals day which is an incredible effort with the squad they have

Some of it's so stupid. Making Sundar look world class. This just a repeat of the last two Pakistan Tests (same top 7 batting order) - poor shot selections on testing pitches. Stokes batting like its an ODI rather as a captain & last recognised batsman - nurse the tail. If it does get close (not convinced it will) an extra 20/30 runs could have been crucial.

Poor shot selections yes but stokes got about 35 off nearly 100 balls. This wasn’t ‘bazball’ though, just some bad shots and decent bowling

We are going to have to bowl and field extremely well if we are going to win this match. I can’t see it myself but it might just be possible if we take early wickets.

Our bowling attack is very poor, only Archer can cause them problems, and they played well against him in the first innings.
I think they lost wickets by being too complacent against the likes of Woakes and Stokes

Yeah, neither unit has fully delivered this series though. At least with the bowling unit we can argue that it’s not been our first choice. Crawley surely got to be sent back to Kent to just get some runs and confidence

Bowling hasn’t been good enough this innings, Indian seamers made the pitch look unplayable with the new ball this morning

It was a hoik across a straight ball - then last 4 wickets are down for 11 runs. Poor shot selection when you're the last recognised batsman.

Bowling hasn't been good enough this series full stop. Indian seamers apply pressure - we take an early wicket then immediately feed them 4 or 5 boundaries to ease the pressure.

The collapse of the tail suggests he would’ve needed to be aggressive anyway. Agree it was an awful shot but it was hardly like he was batting recklessly with 33 of 96
