Lampard to rotate according to journo at presser
Hopefully not going to cuck for Wrexham.

I agree, but it’s a response to the argument from Southampton fans and others who are keen to ‘prove’ that we only succeeded because the league was poor.Conveniently clips out the 15 game start to the season where our record was 10-4-1.
Southampton’s current form is the best stretch to date, to be fair. However, we’ve been coasting to winning the league so we could draw where Southampton needed to win.
I genuinely believe we’d have beaten Sheff Wednesday and Blackburn if the promotion run-in was closer.
It’s also objectively a bullshit claim. Teams have won the league with 81 points in the past and teams winning promotion straight from L1. Under Lampard we also hit traditional automatic promotion form last season too, just not on track for 100+ points. Most seasons, Sheff U’s 92 points see them promoted and we will almost definitely surpass that.I agree, but it’s a response to the argument from Southampton fans and others who are keen to ‘prove’ that we only succeeded because the league was poor.
Notwithstanding that Southampton have far, far more money at their disposal.
We also had a freak outbreak of illness at the most fixture intensive and punishing part of the season. Without that I think we’d be pushing 100 points in all seriousness. It’s also objectively a bullshit claim. None of the promoted teams from L1 got relegated, the parachute payment teams are comfortably in the playoffs/automatics… what’s uniquely bad about the league this year then?
We’re on track to finish on about the same points as Maresca’s Leicester team and won the league earlier than them.
Exactly, for all the Southampton fans saying ‘what if Eckert started the season’, we could equally say the same about signings we made in Jan, particularly Onyeka. We also had a freak outbreak of illness at the most fixture intensive and punishing part of the season. I dislike Southamton immensley particularly after their treatment of Frank at St Marys.I agree, but it’s a response to the argument from Southampton fans and others who are keen to ‘prove’ that we only succeeded because the league was poor.

Norwich fans will also be asking ‘what if Clement had started the season’. Well, he didn’t. Just as we asked last season ‘what if we had Lampard all along’. Yeah, but we didn’t.Exactly, for all the Southampton fans saying ‘what if Eckert started the season’, we could equally say the same about signings we made in Jan, particularly Onyeka.
We’ve lost one game since he joined and the draws I’m pretty confident would’ve been wins if weren’t cruising to the title.
Southampton and Norwich fans should take heed of this young man:Norwich fans will also be asking ‘what if Clement had started the season’. Well, he didn’t. Just as we asked last season ‘what if we had Lampard all along’. Yeah, but we didn’t.
But he will start next season, as will ‘Tonda’, so they can prove how good they are then.
Roll up!Roll up!!Would that queue be called a Herring bone pattern?
No if buts or maybes? We also had a freak outbreak of illness at the most fixture intensive and punishing part of the season. Without that I think we’d be pushing 100 points in all seriousness.
Well yes, anyone can play that game but the only game that matters is what actually happened. Except for Ipswich’s cheating though, that needs a look.No if buts or maybes?
FA Cup semi final generally isn't an issue if you're quick enough and get logistics sorted. Jim Ratcliffe ran it before watching us v Man United.1. Hope your partner is recovering
2. Hope you get your flights back tomorrow
3. Can I have you tickets if you don't![]()
and good luck with the training for next years marathon although its always FA cup semi final weekend so maybe go for Manchester or another one
Can only be compared on what we did to last year with Frank joining us Later than Tunda!Well yes, anyone can play that game but the only game that matters is what actually happened. Except for Ipswich’s cheating though, that needs a look.
I think Clement has done so at Norwich and I expect them to have a very good season next year. Can only be compared on what we did to last year with Frank joining us Later than Tunda!

We’re getting 3 on Sunday ?If i was rich id bet you we wont. But as im not, I will just disagree. We wont get more than 1 point from the next 2, jobs done, no one gives a shit and that will be reflected
We owe it to ourselves to pump these and lift the trophy in style. He won't.
But those are the 3 players that Lampard speaks highly of for their influence around the club.
Think people are hoping they get some minutes Sunday to say thank you and goodbye. But he certainly won't be starting Wilson.
As others have said, this is an important game for the play offs, we owe it to the others to give it our best.
His goals/ minute stats are pretty goodKKH could be worth a run out, looked good last night I thought when he came on.
Which is it?Strongest team. Like to see Markelo.
Only at the beginning of the game.Anyway, do Wrexham have to give us a guard of honour?
Is the Bobby Thomas song on your list?I’m singing at evensong at 5 can’t ruin my voice
how’s that for a reason

"Sorry love, the airline said I have to travel home"This match is cursed for me!
I mentioned before it was moved to the same day as London Marathon and after initially prioritising the marathon, I’ve now managed to defer it as most people I spoke to questioned why I’d miss a once in a lifetime event with Coventry after having an ST for ~25 years! So I sorted that.
Next issue; I was due home from holiday today but my partner is ill and we’ve had to extend for an extra night, change flights etc while she (hopefully!) recovers in time….
Might have to rest one or two maybe, but this is a game we want to win. KKH wouldn't be a bad shout. Maybe Markelo or Eccles too.Strongest team available surely.
If not we lose & lift Championship Trophy with them celebrating playoffs.
Not at all.If i was rich id bet you we wont. But as im not, I will just disagree. We wont get more than 1 point from the next 2, jobs done, no one gives a shit and that will be reflected
I think Watford are the most on the beach side in the league so we’ll see.If i was rich id bet you we wont. But as im not, I will just disagree. We wont get more than 1 point from the next 2, jobs done, no one gives a shit and that will be reflected
Would be nice.Not at all.
The pressure is off us now. Just like it was for our last game and we won that 5-1. The pressure is fully on Wrexham who are only in the top 6 by 2 goals from Hull. Give them the pasting they deserve to finish their season.
I can't see Lampard keeping MVE out of the game. He is the one that makes our squad tick with his antics and will want to play.Would be nice.
Do think we will have to rest one or two though
KKH for MVE might not be a bad shout. Eccles perhaps.
Could we possibly risk Bidwell in place of Dasilva? He looked okay when he came on against Portsmouth, but we had the game won by then.
I think we would save the last game for Allen, at Watford and he will get some game time there
I don’t think he’ll be allowed to use his Super Soaker on Hyam and DoyleI can't see Lampard keeping MVE out of the game. He is the one that makes our squad tick with his antics and will want to play.
We will be lifting the trophy and those who deserve it the most will be on the pitch to give us the win.
