I always have to get up at 4am to take the missus to work and then added to that, I keep getting up in the night to go to the toilet.

I have noticed some of your posts are very early morning.
I just have the odd night where however hard I try I can't sleep at all. The bonus is I will definitely sleep well tonight

That must be very tough getting up at 4am work days.
Has your missus got a milk round.

Ha! Nope.

No, a part time job at a store. She core fills. 4.45-8.

At least that's what she tells me she's doing. Have always found it odd that she works in town but always asks me to drop her off by the Kasbah and all her payslips seem to be just written on scraps of paper.

What's the weather doing down in Cov
Has been chucking it down all night in Bawtry and starting to snow now
Might have to leave earlier than normal
Any risk of game being postponed ??

Can't see it being postponed but it's a miserable day. We need 2 early goals then we can just stroll about for 80 minutes.

There’s no way I’m going to stroll for 89 minutes. F&&k it, I paid to sit down.

Don't mention 'flood' gates.

I went out at 10 last night to walk the dog, then checked at 12, 2am and 4am and it has been raining all night and not light rain either.

Forecast now is light rain all day.

The pitch is going to cut up badly I reckon and the ball may well stick. Could well be telling on tired legs.

With Yeovil not having played since the 17th of March I am concerned that as the game wears on we may tire badly if we are running through treacle all afternoon.

Be nice if we went a couple of goals up really early.

Could prove to be a bit of a banana skin game, this, I feel.

1-1. Us to go a goal up and then we spend most of the second half hanging on.

I think a heavy pitch probably hinders Yeovil too. Listening to the Nii Lamptey show, it seems like they play with pacy wingers - the pitch won't be great for dribbling - and they play James Bailey in centre midfield. On the face of it, they're not going to be a 'hoofball' team. On top of that, Yeovil's away form isn't great. This is our chance to make up ground on the teams around us, as a lot of them play one another.

Accrington v Notts County (home win)
Carlisle v Lincoln (draw)
Crawley v Swindon (away win)
Exeter v Cheltenham (home win)
Luton v Mansfield (draw)
Wycombe v Grimsby (home win)

Looking at these fixtures, we really need a win.

Yeah, I agree on the heavy pitch. Was just thinking in terms of as the game wears on.

No tippy tappy in midfield today - get it forward and work their back four. I think Max could have a role to play in creating havoc for the goalscorers in our team (nod to Grendel) to feed off.

My first game back today, only been out the loop for a while but seems a age and missing my CCFC fix.

I’d only make the one change and I’m not keen on saying it but I’d likely start Reid ahead of Shipley only because I think Yeovil will Park the bus to a degree and see a point away as valuable. Reid has a vast amount of experience to help unlock games and highlights I’ve seen suggest he’s put a few half decent balls in.

Easter weekends proven big in the leagues past promotions to rattle up quick points to put firm pressure on those who slip up. A win is huge, anything less is deflating going to Notts County this weekend.
4 points would be a good Easter return from 2 tricky fixtures

Been on the cricket most of the night ( its a great drug) - just got up ready for a Sky Blue win - bouncing - get in there - only drag is work tomorrow
heavy pitch is my worry - need to have strong legs today to climb up the stand steps

Steve - it is a sign of old age but I know from experience it can also be a symptom of something else

Think if we can score relatively early we will go on to win. Get the feeling though we may need 2.

A 1-0 lead could leave us hanging on at the end I feel.

I’d take a 1-0 win at full time, but not sure I could cope if we get that goal too early!!

Didn’t see any Yeovil coming up the M5. Has anybody told them they’re playing?

Did the bouncers stop them at the door to tell them they can't chew straw and would need to take it out of their mouths once they get inside.

I know your pain, I get it occasionally and it's dreadful, I don't really drink these days as it seems to cause it.

I’m feeing excited and confident, which is a weird feeling being a Coventry fan.

I’d also put Reid in and go all out attack.

3-0, JCH, McNulty, Bayliss.

Let’s hope the memories of a year ago inspire us....
