Ponticelli can't play, John Aldridge has retired and Dave Challinor doesn't take those 50metre throw ins now. Please reassess your pessimism!

Be nice to get a win by more than the odd goal, we really need to start games better and play with a high tempo straight away

We’ve been at it from the off and it’s been end to end most games....

Being on Sky it would be good to see us back playing slick passing football but we need to take our chances.

Another bottom team, capitalise on a mistake and shut us out. City 0-1 Tranmere

Woke up pretty cheerful and optimistic...... that’s got rid of that sort of ridiculous behaviour on a wet Sunday morning

Coming off the back of an error strewn defeat? Tranmere promoted last season? On Sky? This has all the ingredients of a first home defeat!

But that’s the old City isn’t it! I’m going for a 3-1 win!

I suspect we'll see one or two changes today
Need to be creating more chances and have a bit more physicality

Teeming rain = less iffy back four passes please. O'Hare to dazzle and the ball to land at Godden's feet in the box. 3-0

After a few below par results and performances MR is well within his rights to make a few changes.

Assuming he keeps the same formation, I’d go:

Marosi
Dabo Hyam Rose Mason
Walsh Kelly Shipley
O’Hare Godden Hiwula

We lose O’Hares creativity in the middle, but it’s mitigated somewhat by the return of Kelly and Walsh in a more advanced position. Plus, I’m not convinced by Kasteener from the start yet, and as we’ve carried the two wide players for the most of the season, maybe a different style of player in O’Hare might work.

I’d prefer a return to 4-2-3-1 to try and support Godden more but the issue of wingers restricts that option.

It’ll be interesting to see who leads the defensive line in a relatively young and inexperienced back four.

It would be fantastic to get back to playing our football and a convincing win to reignite our promotion season.

3-0, Hiwula, O’Hare, Hyam.

We have to start creating more as of today hopefully we have addressed this & we begin to start putting the sides like This struggling in the bottom half to the sword.

If we’re starting from a blank slate, I’d go:

Marosi
Dabo Rose Hyam Mason
Kelly Walsh
Kastaneer O’Hare Hiwula
Godden

And have the front four rotating.

Hopefully back on track with 3 points. Be interesting to see what the attendance is regarding the rain/early KO and it being on the box.

That would certainly confuse the defenders - and the crowd. But not likely to be very effective and they'd get dizzy after a short while and fall over.

This is an interesting point... For example, C. Ronaldo will drift to a flank where he thinks he can capitalise to score (his usual lorry load of) goals.

I wonder if Godden, could switch with Hiuwla during games, or whether it is a no go for i) him personally ii) Manager's orders... Because he is not getting a sniff, especially in home games, which is a massive worry.

If Godden switched with Hiwula in games who would give support to the left back?

A difficult one this one think we have road our luck to remain unbeaten for so long - it just caught up with us big style at Rotherham.

I would make a few changes I think this would be my team below.

Marosi
Dabo
Mason
Rose
Hyam
Kelly
O'Hare
Shipley
Hiwula
Godden
Baka

Subs: Wilson. McCallum, MacFadzean, Westbrooke, Walsh, Kastaneer, Bremang

So you would put McFadz on the bench even though he is suspended?

Ronaldo does have a couple of very good feet, whereas Hiwula has a couple of good feet but unfortunately on the wrong legs

Is Baka injured if so will be interesting to see who’s on the bench. Max wasn’t in 21s on Thursday, then again not one from 1st was.

We definitely need more goals if we are to progress this season, we have scored 16 in the league but shipped 14...not good enough really! I would suspect Robins has to try and persevere with Hiwula because we don't have any fit senior sub strikers atm unless Max is fit again, so he can't afford to piss Hiwula off, but how do you get the best out of a lazy fucker? he should be getting near his 1 decent game in 20 by now

It’s going to be a waterlogged pitch by the look of it, so I can see this being a close game, I’d settle for a scrappy 1-0 now.

If it's on Sky then it should be on here. Excellent stream quality. (Not showing in the list at the moment, but probably 10-15 mins before kick off)

Sky tv cameras being there should result in him at least breaking sweat today.
