What I don’t get is that if we still wanted Chaplin why didn’t we give Hiwula or Ponti a chance as a second striker?

I think a 4 year deal is nuts. 2 year max at this level, the turnover of players is too high. Not sure why they extended Kelly's for instance.I don’t think he’ll play 4-4-2. Most likely 4-2-3-1 or 4-4-1-1
Can’t see Andreu not starting in the 1 if so. Excited to see Chaplin play and largely unnoticed the 4 year deal!! That’s a club sorting itself out to some extent
