This talk of being more effective off the bench is utter nonsense. O'Hare is quality and for me gets a start when fit. Allen too soon for this game but a bench place for sure. Same for Jones.
baka is simply not as good a threat as Biamou so he also rest on the bench. McCallum back in place of Mason.
The difficulty is the mix in midfield. Shipley has been dire lately and Kelly and Walsh are the back bone of the side atm. Considering we have strength on the bench I'd look for:

..............Morosi
.......Hyam McFaz Rose
Dabo.....................McCallum
.......kelly...............Walsh......
....O'Hare......Westbrooke....
.............Biamou...................

Bench: Wilson, Shipley, Jones, Allen, Mason, Hiwula, Baka

Ipswich will also change their side but think we can snatch this if we play to our stengths. 2-1

I think that will be the team.On the bench I'll think it will be Drysdale instead of Jones.

MacFadzean

Hyam
McCallum
Kelly
Westbrooke
Walsh
Baka
Biamou

Subs: Wilson, Mason, Allen, Shipley, O'Hare, Jones, Hiwula

Dire lately = part of a game against Ipswch and coming on as a sub in the MK EFL game. Before that he'd scored in a couple of games through breaking runs from midfield and everybody was praising him. Short memories.

Ipswich must face Sky Blues without star striker Norwood

Finger on the pulse again from the Telegraph. A story about Norwood getting injured so not being able to play, even though he's banned anyway.

So when has he scored his goals? From starting or off the bench? Snatched us a win, a draw and put us into the lead in injury time before letting in an equaliser.

OK, he's play well enough when he's started but you can argue the same of any of Kelly, Walsh, Shipley or Westbrooke on the whole. Odd game of the pace or started slowly but on the whole done well enough. O'Hare has made way more of an impact off the bench though and of those five who's the one you'd want to be coming on against tiring legs?

Play them up front and see if they can hit the onion bag.

Ipswich have only beaten one team in the top 10 this season and haven't won in the league since 5th November.

Short pass and move not very productive but they did rest first teamers

I feel like Dabo might get a cheeky goal today

We play a lot better when the reins are off and the team are allowed to play football and be offensive. I think MR has learnt that too, but whether he’ll do that in a game like today I’m not sure.

I’m feeling confident today, we have a really good team and when we play we can dominate and beat anyone. Scoring is out issue and while Biamou isn’t prolific, he adds a dimension nobody else does. We also have a strong bench today, so our changes can be impactful - that’s a strength at any level, never mind L1.

With the above in mind, I’d go;

Marosi
Rose McFadzean Hyam
Dabo Kelly Walsh Mason
O’Hare
Baka Biamou

Wilson
McCallum
Shipley
Westbrooke
Allen
Kasteneer
Hiwula

2-0, Biamou, Baka

I would give Kasteneer 30 minutes - to pack his bags and get on the next stage out of town.

Godden in the squad. Was not expecting that.

Great news.

Walsh injured or just not chosen with Allen returning?

Didn't expect to see Godden!

Walsh injured or dropped?

I like that team though, and it's a very strong bench.

Godden on the bench is a surprise! Strong on the bench and nice to see 2 up front as well.

I reckon Kelly will be playing a bit deeper with Westbrooke and O'Hare pushing on. If O'Hare can get an understanding like Shipley for Zain's through balls he could cause problems. Quite optimistic with that line up (ergo we're going to lose!)

Nice surprise to see Godden back.

Good to have some options on the bench, has seemed a bit of a case of making up the numbers in recent weeks.

Very attacking bench. In a bit of trouble if one of the wing backs gets injured.

We really do have good options to change things up off the bench today. I'm not confident but it's as good a team selection and subs as we could have hoped for.

Strong team and bench.

Very excited to see two up front with O’Hare in behind.

Attacking line up = definite victory.

Surprised no Walsh in the squad so I assume injury or he’s definitely going back in Jan so phasing him out?
