He came on as a sub up at Boro on Tuesday night and seemed to finish the game ok, he did have a slight hamstring niggle around a month ago..
Top player on his day.

The one thing about this game, regardless of result, off the field stuff etc, is that it'll be a good test for us against a championship side. Our style of play which has often been praised by opposition managers/fans works well against L1 sides so as maybe a sneek peek to next season (fingers crossed, not jinxing anything etc etc) and to how we'd do against better opposition.

Looking forward to seeing how we do.

me too, though we have a really intense run of games coming up in the next 5 or 6 weeks so even though a draw would be a great result I'd rather it was finished Saturday one way or another.

Agreed. I reckon long term, the FA and EFL will state the Cup games need to be settled on the day. Too much fixture congestion, player welfare etc are becoming increasingly vocal arguments from managers etc. Something needs to be done.

Not in time for this Saturday unfortunately though! Fingers crossed for a result one way or another!

Strangely, this is the least I’ve cared or looked forward to a game in a long while.

Nervous for Tuesday though!

would be great to progress and there's the potential for a much needed cash boost but Tuesday is definitely a more important game.
Then 7 games in February, it's going to be some month. Still in the top 3 after that I might be able to bring myself to mention the P word.

I think it might be that fact that the next round is in midweek and therefore I can’t get excited about a good away day. In saying that, I wouldn’t want to get battered by Liverpool or City anyway

Review of the match from the Totally Football League podcast, the link will take you straight to it. It's only 1m30ish so no great detail but obviously they talk about the novelty of it and are very complimentary about us.

I am the opposite. I really want to see how this team can play against Championship players. If we are totally outclassed I'll take another season enjoying winning and playing stylish football in League One. Loving this season more than many for a long time.

After the second half against Donny I’m all up for some inconsequential fun TBH. There’ll be plenty of time for nail biting coming up!

Fair enough! Maybe I’m just bitter than the fans are turning out for this freak show and not games we need to win

Let’s hope a few have a good time and see how easy access can be and come back more often.

Dont be bitter, be positive. Once they have attended and realise how how easy it is to get to, how good the football is and how different the attitudes are we have a chance of getting them back regularly.

Fleetwood away is a hard trip to make on a Tuesday night. Blackpool is bad enough, then add some more.

Edit, it looks like Shmmeee beat me to it.

Looking forward to a good atmosphere vs Brum tbh, seeing how our style of footy goes up against a team a division higher too!

Bring on Tuesday also!!

This game is going to appear in a quiz in the future. When did B'ham score a goal away from home at St Andrews? or something like that

@ BCFC.com.
We are the away side for this Fourth Round match and have sold-out our ticket allocation of 9,260.
This allocation is more than double we would normally be entitled to receive

Blues have the majority of the Gil Merrick Stand Lower, all of the Gil Merrick Stand Upper and the Main Stand and Main Stand Paddocks.

Coventry supporters will be sitting in the Kop and most of the Tilton Road End.

Due to segregation requirements, safety and matchday operation logistical reasons, certain areas of the St. Andrew's Trillion Trophy Stadium have to remain unused.

Therefore - with Coventry having disposed of all of their tickets as well - the game is a sell-out, based on a capacity of around 22,000.

Under normal circumstances in keeping with competition regulations, Blues would only have had 15 per cent of the regular St. Andrew's capacity - 4,475 tickets.

But due to the unique nature of this tie and the excellent relationship both clubs have developed since agreeing the groundshare, we both worked closely with the Safety Advisory Group to ensure a rough 50/50 split.

Blues supporters are required to access the away seating via St. Andrew's Street. There will also be Main Stand access off Garrison Lane. There will be no access to the Main Stand via Tilton Road.

The reason blocks one and two in the Gil Merrick Stand Lower cannot be used is due to there being no access for Blues supporters off Coventry Road.

The configuration of the turnstiles for these blocks would mean Blues supporters coming through the away car park on the Kop - which is being used for Coventry coaches.

This affects around 1,000 seats,

Similarly, Coventry supporters are unable to use blocks one to seven of the Tilton Road End due to turnstiles for this area being next to Main Stand entrances. Part of the Kop, near to the Gil Merrick Stand, will also be blocked off.

Supporters of both Blues and Coventry are reminded that all tickets have been sold and none are available on the day of the match.

Blues and Coventry are looking forward to this game and uppermost in our minds has been to make it a safe environment for all supporters to come and enjoy a unique occasion.

The Blues team will be arriving via coach and are using the away dressing room.

Looking at the total Stakes compared with the total paid out, Nick should be rich by now!
