Wimbledon were dreadful but should’ve been 2-0 up. Then they were timewasting for a draw after 30 minutes, deserved to lose for that. Would be amazed if they don’t go down.

We stuck at it. Not the best we’ve played this season but still found a way to win. Such good character in this team that even when we go behind, I always still feel we can win.

Just got home - great win. O’hare and Walsh are looking like great deals. Thought the late substitution actually unsetttled us - two up top didn’t look right. A bit more clinical up top and we’ll be fine.

Although playing out from the back is worrying at times, it will pay dividends this season - we have total control in big phases of the game..... great to see.

Thought we were poor tonight, misplaced passes, and misunderstandings all over the pitch. A number of posts after the Blackpool game commented on how well we had played out from the back, which is the way we want to play, even though we would occasionally get caught out. Well it happened tonight, Wimbledon had done their homework and pressed us high, leading to that error. But, we mustn’t be put off, we need to play our football from the back.

Perhaps the 10 day break will do us good, whether we were tired after a couple of tough games, something wasn’t quite right with our game tonight, and Robins will have time to work with the squad.

Having said all of this, we found a way to win, we won’t be able to maintain the high standards of the Blackpool match in every game, so winning ugly will do!

Strange game tonight. Sloppy at the back but had more cutting edge first half. Second, tightened up a bit but final ball was missing (some of the play before the final third was excellent though)

Will take the three points. Its been said numerous times before but the lads will to win and belief has been immense so far this season ! Enjoy the break boys, you’ve earned it.

I will take that win. We are coming off the back of a tough game at Burton and the lads needed to get the win to get back on track. This run is not sustainable so it is important that we win while we can and try to build a gap between us and the rest of the league. I am optimistic for the season. PUSB.

How can you claim to be optomistic and say that the current streak is not sustainable?

Funny old game as I said earlier and 'class' to tell in the end, so it proved. Stats are amazing with 70/30 %?
We still have Allen to make his debut, Jones to return and Kelly.
Just wondering what playing with a back 3 would be like...

We will defiantly get caught quite a few times this season playing from the back as every team will no how we play and press us very high.We need to change it every now and then so teams don't no which tactics we will try and play.Season going great so far and could easily have more points.

I think the 3 losses there for TM’s team show that this team is a bit sturdier. At least, I hope so.

As you are clearly the resident annoying weirdo on these pages, your sudden admission of necrophilia is unfortunately not even a shock to me.

Personally i find weirdo remarks like this a bit worrying and sick particularly when we have kids reading the board.
No need for it pal

Just looking at it again, Bury were above Sheffield Utd... how their fortunes both changed in the space of a few years

Interestingly, this was our promotion season after 9 games. If we’re dreaming of Championship this year sitting on 19 points... Notts County must’ve thought it was in the bag... two years later they’re struggling in Vanarama National League.

Wasn't the best game we will ever play, we won't always play well either but to still come away with the win is nice.
