Exactly. I'll be watching my sons football training in Bedworth which finishes at 6pm, bus into cov city center, walk through to station, get train at 18:52, be in Birmingham New Street for 19:19 then a brisk walk to the ground. The train only cost me £2.50 for a return ticket
you could jump on the train at Bedworth into Cov at 18:23 gets you there at 18:36 and saves having to yomp through town, you might even get a sooner train to Birmingham

The ball bounces twice before it gets to him, it's not travelling that fast and it's definitely not spinning behind him. He has well over a second to make his decision, that's an age in professional sport. I timed it as 1.2 seconds* between the post and his touch :p

(*based on an average of 10 timings**)
(**I'm joking, I'm not that sad, I only timed it 8 times)

I still think a confident striker opens his body and hits that first time on his left but he tries to control a ball spinning across him, in his stride, on his right foot. Now that is extremely difficult to do!

The funniest bit about all of it is he gets punished by getting the ball smashed in his face by the defender straight after :emoji_joy::emoji_joy:

Hiwula to score twice tonight!
Great strike by Westbrook

Head says: Reckon it'll be a draw tonight (thats what I've had a bet on).

Heart says: 2-1 win.

Ordinarily I would say a difficult game and they will park the bus and look for a point, a sneaky breakaway win being a bonus.
But I think we are a different class from last season and have the ability to play against this type of team and be victorious.
I would expect a 2 or 3 nil win. Of course football is a funny old game and the night may be very different but we surely are a far better and more capable side now as we sit atop the league.

Can people start to realise we’re a very good team, even if we’ve only demonstrated it in glimpses. We’ve played poor teams and good teams (including Portsmouth who everyone seemed to bum), and bar one game, have come away with good results each time.

We’ve won ugly and we’ve won pretty. We’ve won with fan favourites on the bench and boo boys starting.

Yes we’ve been frustrating at times, but when we get out of first gear we play fantastic football and we now even have that “proven” goalscorer everyone wanted.

Imagine how impressive we’ll be with a full strength side, both in terms of injury returns and fitness levels.

I know we’re Coventry City fans, and the majority of us are the hardcore who even waste their lives on a fans forum, and as such as used to disappointment and negativity, but the tide is turning; enjoy the ride!

M6 is a joke. 90 minutes to get from Ash Green to ground. We're literally the only people here.

Yeah I’ve just got home I can’t be bothered with the hassle to go tonight

Always go on the Old Coventry Road way rather than use the M6

Hmmmmm, I may change my prediction and make another bet then!

5-0 City, penalty conceded by Concrete Rod.
I always think the "Robins Revival" started with the acquisition of McDonald. Indicated there was a definite plan to get out of L 2. That was my impression anyway
And for the first few months he was a real rock. Then......

Good to see o'hare getting a start, but harsh on Westbrook, he starts every game, we get to the top of the league, and then he gets dropped!!!
If we dont win tonight, he's going to be smug as fuck!
