We’ve played some nice stuff. Particularly this second half.

Lots of positives to take from this.

I like the look of Perry

Left footed too! Maybe he's the Binks replacement

He played very well in the first half v Monaco. He looks very promising to me.

Is it too early to say Perry is first name on the team sheet?

BTA put in a shift that was worse than Simms.

Brau is gonna pick up a lot of bookings

compared to the Bristol game, where fans were rimming him for doing not much, I thought Perry had some real quality tonight and I’m very much interested as 4th choice for him

Good result against a very good side. Onto St Pauli, hopefully with a new CB and ST

Didn't realise he'd come on.
From the stream I thought Thomas looked a bit quicker and more tidy on the ball

JDS has to start at left back, and Perry looks like he could have a role to play, he’s clearly got ability. Thought Allen and Torp quickened everything up for us and gave a bit of control.

Not a bad performance.

Rushworth is the real deal
MVE is a top flight player
JDS quality
Perry fantastic
Torp has creativity
Rudoni ice cold

We need to buy new strikers though!

That 52, Paul Gerald, who equalised for them, I knew him when he was a pipe fitter/welder in Croydon. He only goes as Pablo Garcia in Spain to sound more sophisticated...

I’m amazed how people think performing in friendlies offer any indication at all when the real action starts

Thought we played really well especially second half and it was a good game against a top 6 La Liga team, don't think Sheafo and their number 20 are best mates

Well we didn't look too bad gave them the run around but I guess if it had been a competitive game they would have upped the tempo, except for a wonder strike they never created that much...decent workout and we scored a goal

think the play offs pretty much summed it up, simms Never played a minute, he’s not going to turn into the player we need in 3 months, not his fault, just some players don’t fit in,

I agree, but with Wright not fit, and no new striker on board (as yet) we are struggling.

We really need to find a way to get something positive out of Simms. (Somehow)

Honestly he's incredibly frustrating. Everything he does is 100000mph. He doesn't once think. That last shot there was embarrassing, he'd found himself 20 yards out, with two options either side and he decides to half volley on his weaker foot.

Midfielder scores goal. Forwards look naff.

But people would still rather splash silly money on a centre half who isn’t worth it. Granted that defence is hardly world class, but it’s still an absurd idea.

He was worse than Simms by a country mile tonight
