This entitlement from the day trippers who have recently started appearing and didnt see the days we were losing 6-2 to Yeovil at home, twice to Forest Green, 2-0 to Accrington Stanley. I hate hearing the abuse some of the team get from said people especially when we’ve won, around me its usually Sakamoto and Wright. Dont ask me why its even when they put in a good performance. We won 1-0 in a scrappy game against a good footballing side (who cant do anything but hold possession) clean sheet 3 points all that matters its the sign of Champions to come through scrappy games like Bristol and this one with wins especially at home

I thought Stamenic looked quite good, but it was Galbraith who really impressed.
Agree, I thought Stamenic was decent. Will go on to a bigger club than Swansea. A friend of mind used to have strong links with Galbraith. We wanted him on loan from Man United the summer we signed Palmer, Doyle and Panzo. I think Chris Badlan was still scout at the time.

A team that will be hard to topple. Weren’t at our best but still won…and stretched our lead over second and third. Can’t play scintillating football every game but getting results in such circumstances is the stuff of champions

In the end, the more I think about it (maybe a dangerous thing to do I appreciate) this was a bang average performance against a team we should be thumping 4-0.

We have for a few games now been playing like a side 7th or 8th trying to get into the play offs. Our lead is artificial as the sides below us keep beating one another - last year there were far more sides within reach of Sheffield Utd on 51.

Please don't give me the guff about flu, that's clutching at straws.

Ipswich is unbelievably important. We not only have to win, but also play well. There are two missing links - one is Rudoni in best form able to feed chances to the strikers; the other is Wright or Simms looking sharp enough to score. Can't continue to rely on EMC bailing us out.

No team can turn it in every week. I said earlier in the season the free scoring wouldn't last.

When that happens you need to dig in, be resilient and put pointson the board by hook or by crook, and not only have we done that, we've done it while a bug has affected the squad.

I don't agree we're playing like a side in 7th or 8th, we're playing like champions, that's why we're so far ahead of the rest.

Somebody didnt get their Lego set for christmas. This is possibly the most ludicrous post of the year. Maybe you should get an award.

Swansea looked like what they are; neat and tidy, good at retaining the ball, but with no real cutting edge.

That's why they're having a poor season, not because they're a bunch of clowns falling about to get tonked by whoever's lucky enough to come up against them this week.

The performance was good enough to win the game, and that is all that matters.

You demand perfection every week, and then sulk when you don't get it. It's not a reasonable expectation.

We are half way and have 51 points. That's the bottom line.

All good sides grind out 1-0s, we can't be winning 3-0 4-1 every game. We'll soon start banging them in again im sure. How many times did Fergies Man Utd do it, loads. It's a marathon not a sprint.

Decent game. Both teams were decent with the ball. Cullen looked handy. We had to work for the win and did enough to deserve it.

EMC keeps getting important goals. Woolfenden looked decent. Torp did a lot to get us up the pitch quicker second half. Happy with that.

Oh no not Accrington Stanley. Had to find them on a map. Looked at them for 6 points. They did the double over us 😂

Rudoni just seems to be slowing the game down, he gets the ball and could quickly lay it off but wants to try too much. I'm not sure he suits the style of play that worked earlier on in the season.

He did a lot more of the simpler stuff in the second half and it looked much more fluid. More of that going forward will do us and him a lot of good.

It will be like this now until we win the promotion. Every team will come here setting out to frustrate us and breakup our play, they know they cannot allow us to get into a rhythm else they could get pumped. Swansea plan was ball busting pressing which was bloody impressive (difficult to maintain) I watched the game again on TV and every city player had at least two players hitting them as soon as they had possession and as such the service to our forwards was very limited and therefore chances at a minimum., however EMC was destroying them as he is so bloody strong and can hold the ball well and many times he had the ball and at least 3 players were trying to stop him. It's not about relying on EMC to score but he is a forward and has quite a good record and will take the opportunities that are given up to him because the opposition trying to stop our forwards, we miss BTA because the midfield can thread a ball through the lines and because of his tenacity and speed he can make a pass look good, wherein the ball has to be precise to Wright and Simms for them to get a shot off. When Rudi get his form back it will be all so different. By the way I think Torpe is looking a brilliant prospect for the Premier league. Have a good new year! 👍
