I’ve been travelling today and just got back home.
It’s a great result - I think fans really need to appreciate where the club is now and get an understanding of how massive an achievement it is for very lowly paid players to achieve such a result.
I think it’s especially great for those who are too young for the premier days. They’ll see a lot of national media discussing the club and they will see them being the main match on Match of the Day.
I hope the club gets another big game for the next round. Again it will give younger supporters a flavour of what I’ve had for the first 30 years following the club.

I switched on Sports Report on BBC Radio 5 Live at 5pm and for the first time in years a Cov win was the first/main story - the match reporter Ian Dennis even specifically remarked that it was not a case of the Stoke players not playing for the manager, it was first and foremost a game won by Cov not thrown away by Stoke.
I did though get annoyed by some of the comments by Stoke fans which BBC radio read out such as "gutted to lose to such a small club", "losing to Coventry is an embarrasment", "terrible defeat for us, never thought we'd lose that" etc etc. Fact check guys, we may be in exile from the Prem but in our 34 years there Stoke was mostly a lower league side, and us beating them in the FA Cup would be entirely routine. Our home ground is bigger than theirs, Cov is a bigger city than Stoke and we've at least won the trophy unlike them. So although we're in a lower division we are NOT a smaller club, our history, fanbase (as shown at Wembley), ground and city are bigger than theirs. We are not a minnow and this was not a giantkilling, this was reality reasserting itself for the first time in a very long time. And all the sweeter for it.

Many supporters think that football started with their Sky subscription as a Manchester City supporter we had Newcastle fans signing that we had never won in Europe at us the other day even though if you exclude the Intertoto cup we have won a cup in europe more recently than Newcastle!Smaller club? This is what I've always said , an empty Ricoh is like a morgue but a near full Ricoh is up there with the best.It says a lot about the effort put in by the SBA that we had that atmosphere with 14,000, absolutely phenomenal. And it’s not like the Stoke fans contributed much.
