Interesting. I presume we'll have someone lined up if he's definitely going.

Simon Moore?

Positive move as we must have someone lined up... Played a massive part in our promotion from league one but the step up was just too much

Shrewsbury did well last season. Only one place below us! Liked Marosi but after that injury was not the same

I'm surprised. Whilst not perfect, one of the better keepers we've had in recent years.

Perhaps he knew he wasn't going to be number 1 and wants that assurance. Good luck to him.

Would much prefer to keep him as back up than that clown Wilson

For the CT they are a star, or a starlet if under 24

Agreed. But the difference is that Wilson will be happy as a number 2. Marosi wouldn't

Surely we won’t be daft enough to let him go before we have a replacement through the door?

wasnt tested much in league one due to solid defence but looked solid enough.
poor in the championship.
footballinsider is often full of shite mind you.

Yeah it’s ridiculous that we’re preserving with Wilson, I’d like to think the contract extension was due to the number of appearances.

Apparently we're interested in Douggie Bader, so should be fine.

To be fair, that Morrison challenge in the Cardiff game seemed to affect him. Good luck to him though!

Wouldn't we be getting a fee for him Also as he's in contract?

You'd like to think we would have asked for around the 200k mark?

I can imagine they're probably just paying up the remainder of his contract.

Yeah they better be paying us for him.

Will always be a hero here after that L1 campaign. Hopefully he gets a good reception if we play them in a cup game or something.

Was always going to leave in search of first team football after being dropped for Wilson who I assume we're keeping for backup because he's much cheaper, even on his new contract.

That article is dogshit though. Shrewsbuy finished 1 place below us after not winning in their last 10 Championship games apparently.
