That always blew my mind. A place called Radio Rentals where you could buy a TV. And couldn't rent a radio

You couldn’t buy one

Ipswich are likely to cock up anyway, without Millwall or Boro's help.

They have 7 games left and 5 of those are away and they have a very tough game at Carrow Road tomorrow.

I think they just have too many games left now and are having to cram them all in
If Ipswich lose to Norwich then they can only get to 90 pts.

If we beat SW and then 4pts against BBurn and Portsmouth will do it. 3 pts and we're champions on goal difference anyway barring a complete miracle.

I've never supported Norwich before!

Am I the only one that wants a Millwall or Boro win?

Its going to be a right shit way to do it if we get promoted at 5 tomorrow when everyone is seperate
I used to think this but we're promoted already, tomorrow should be the start of the party and we should just enjoy it while we can. If that (P) appears next to us at the game or not it's already done.

Back in the late 60's and 70's we used to rent our tv from Gibbs on the Foleshill Rd, by the General Wolfe. It had a meter on the back, so if you wanted to watch TV, you had to put either a shilling or a two shilling coin into the meter. When they came round to empty the meter, we waited with baited breath to see if we'd put too much in and were due a small refund! How times have changed!

I can see it being end to end in the first half and we’ll see out a professional result 2nd half keeping possession and seeing out the 3 points, Eprhon is due a goal and so is Torp so I think Ephron scores early on and Torp scores a free kick. They have a very good young keeper who could be good to sign and loan back out to the championship next season, they’ll be well up for it and willing to go toe to toe with us because what have they got to lose they’re already confirmed bottom and lost 5-0 at home to us

No Sakamoto so you imagine that will be Esse in

Not ideal but I suppose if there is any game you want to be forced into having to rotate a bit it is against a side with one win to their name all season

If BTA is fit he's also an option there, did well there in the very early part of the season

I was thinking the same thing. Would be a damp squib though of Boro then went on and won.
If we win tomorrow we most probably won't be getting promoted at home. If Middlesbrough and Millwall both also win we will be 12 points ahead of both of them and about 20 GD ahead of Middlesbrough and about 30 GD against Millwall with just 4 games to go. At least we have a massive following at Blackburn on the Friday night in front of the cameras waiting for the single point needed to confirm promotion.

If Ipswich don't win either of their next 2 games we would also win the title with 2 wins. If not we then have 2 home games to do it in front of our own supporters. Not too bothered when promotion is won, but winning the title at home would be my choice.

I just feel a little uncomfortable with picking and choosing what game we get promoted on.

I know it's an odds on certainty anyway, but to me, it just comes across as a little arrogant.

To my mind it's let's just get it done and as soon as humanly possible
Agree. Even if promotion is done, it will take a couple more games at least to get the title over the line.

At the moment, winning the next 3 doesn't guarantee finishing ahead of Ipswich.

I was trying to work through the maths to see if the Ipswich Boro game would also make it mathematically certain, assuming they were both to lose tomorrow. Don’t think so

Ipswich 12 points behind with 7 games to go. Ignoring our results for now 2 draws for Ipswich would be 10 points behind with 5 games to go. If we beat Sheffield Wednesday and Blackburn the difference would be 16 points with 5 games to go. That's the game before Ipswich v Middlesbrough. So yes it's very possible.

no it doesn’t if Millwall win.
