It feels so different going into a game after our first defeat. I was feeling nervous for each game because I wanted to preserve the unbeaten run and break more records. Now I'm feeling nervous about the whole thing falling down and the realisation that we were playing above ourselves. A win tonight would make me feel a lot better about how good we actually are. We definitely should win but we looked poor on Friday.
If that were our best 11 I’d be much more concerned.

Is it time that we all showed a bit of emotional maturity (I have very low levels of this as a rule) for the COH situation. Lets be classy by not booing someone who gave us some amazing memories. Its time to put all the pantomime stuff to one side isn't it and give him a good reception....and then stop when the game commences. Him in sunglasses is still one of those iconic pictures form our rise...as was the blue wig. And just for that Leicester game - the plastic Brummie with the weird way of talking deserves more from Coventry fans.

This is the thing. 5 changes is a lot, i think people are getting overly concerned. We might be able to cobble through a lot of home games with those changes but i wouldn't really fancy us in many away games if we had to do such a thing again. Hopefully we won't.

Wouldn't like to predict a team with the injuries and illness, but hopefully MvE will be back in and Dasilva.

I think we'd be better taking out one of the forwards for a midfielder (probably Eccles is most likely to be fit and could be swapped with Torp later on if necessary). Whichever of the forwards got dropped could rightfully feel a bit aggrieved. Personally, I think I'd drop Wright but not sure how BTA would do as the CF. Probably work his socks off closing down but maybe not that effective elsewhere?

They've started poorly and we should look to be taking advantage, especially at home. But can't help but think it's midweek, it's Sheffield United and Wilder. It's just one of those games historically we don't turn up in. Can see it turning out a drab 1-0 to them, with O'Hare the scorer. Hope I'm wrong.

Oh my days I’d forgotten it is Boo Callum O’Hare Day too! The festivities never stop down at the CBS.

Good point. But I suppose even if it was our best 11, most teams have an off-day sometimes so it could just be that.
I think Lampard had the choice between that line up and starting players who he’d prefer but weren’t fully fit. I can see why he did what he did, though I’d have given Eccles and Torp a half each.

Game’s gone anyway, FL’s mindset is to analyse games and quickly move on to the next one, that’s what we should do as well.

Am normally a pessimist - years of being a Cov fan has inbred that. This season feels different somehow and I certainly haven’t felt this confident about things on the pitch since the league one title winning season.

That said, can’t see any other outcome but a home loss to Sheffield United tonight. Please prove me wrong boys.

I'm only slightly nervous about it as they are one of the teams i can't stomach losing to. If i just take them as any other team, we should be winning this. Weather could be a bit of a leveller? I had heard its going to be grim tonight but hadn't double checked it.

Could be a great night for us.

At home against a team who are bottom 3, lost 10 of 13 games with the 2nd worst goals conceded total and our 3 closest teams in the division, are all away.

I'm against the O'Hare booing as well and I'd personally still have him back, but if anything he was one of the few players who I've actually seen be negatively impacted by being booed on the pitch. Properly retreated into himself, and it probably worked in our favour overall.

Still not as bad as applauding ex-players who are taking set pieces against us though

Really hard to predict this one. Sheffield United's results are all over the place, but I think they'll be up for making a statement.

Still going with a 3-1 Cov win

I'm the opposite and very much the optimist, but I did feel we might well struggle against Wrexham and I think tonight will be a tough game too

Either 0-0 or 1-1.

Happy with a draw, because I can see us perhaps losing this one.
