I don’t know why but I’m starting to get nervous about tonight’s match.

If our back four is at full strength then I think we will win either 2-0 or 2-1. I really don’t want us to lose though because back-to-back defeats after our fantastic start will be a real blow to our confidence ahead of a difficult trip to Stoke.

Just want to see that reaction from the boys tonight. Yeah we took the L against Wrexham but we came straight back with a win against a poor shef utd team 🤞🤞 need to get playing how we were the first few games of the season

I think we'll definitely win - 2-0 with Simms to randomly get one 💪

I was there on Friday, in Koh Tao now.

I managed to get the first half of Wrexham but woke up gutted to the loss.

Sort your jet lag out and get ready for a perfect 10pm KO on Saturday.
Sunday night I slept like a baby but christ it was tough last night, went to sleep at 1.20am ish and was promptly woken up at 3am because the wife hadn't put her phone on silent couldn't get back to sleep all friggin night

I still dont beleive he was solely to blame for Dovins injury. Dovin tried to Cruyff turn him after all.
Probably not but, he took out Grimes early on, then MVE before the Dovin incident. Clearly instructed to take out our influential players by intimidating them and following through with his tackles. The ref was dire and should have seen what was happening.

They are a fanbase with an vastly overinflated opinion of themselves, their middle aged adult fans have in their lifetime lived to see us win a major trophy and never their own club yet constantly harp on about how they are the vastly superior club in every aspect

I actually refuse to believe they are any bigger nor smaller than us and the two clubs are actually quite similar but their fans have always been a funny bunch when it comes to us, there were clubs and fanbases I excepted ribbing from when we were on our arse and they were not one of them, they point to the protest game against them like it was a pre-planned way to disrupt them but they won the game and went on to be promoted so their issue is completely pointless, Wednesday did exactly the same to us the other week and we cared not one bit

The whole thing was crass and is not forgotten on my part, as a result I enjoy beating them that little bit more than most other sides, enjoy seeing them where they are now and even considering our history with them and the circumstances we lost the semis, was not overly that gutted to see Sunderland turn them over at Wembley

why is everyone wanting Eccles to start ahead of either BTA or EMC??

bit weird
I agree... crazy idea!

Because we’ve looked vulnerable against Watford, Blackburn and Wrexham playing with BTA in the 10 despite getting two positive results.

so we sacrifice a player in that position who is the team and the league’s top scorer, and the second highest in terms of assists, and bring in a player who passes sideways, slows play down and flies aimlessly and dangerously into challenges, spends a lot of time on the deck or needlessly waving his hands around in the air?

and I wouldn’t swap out EMC either, he’s far more of an attacking threat and works much better with JDS

Take Sakamoto out for BTA if he must be kept in, Sheff Utd play a high line.

You can't in any event use goals scored mostly from a different position to justify keeping a player in the role where he's not very effective. Friday's defeat has been coming and the main reason for that is that we're suddenly not controlling matches. We need to address that.
