Wright will presumably go to Turkey; hopefully we'll get our money back. MvE will have suitors, but not for the sums talked about in the summer. Loads of others will only have a year left on their contracts; it will be interesting to see who is offered a new one, and who we attempt to move on.

I thought we made changes to late, you could see at half time that Eccles was having one of those days and it felt the three in midfield were not progressive enough.

I would like us to have taken off Eccles and brought on Simms and gone two up as they were just defending.

Towards the end I would like us to have really changed it and replaced Grimes with Onyeka just so the players can’t keep cheating and giving it to Grimes.
