there are a few that need a rest. I'd bench EMC if fit, def Wolf for Kitch and KKH for da silva. I think MVE needs a rest but if I'm starting KKH on the left then hes playing. But hes not taking any long throws!

The new fella absolutely has to start, weve been in the doldrums for too long now, i do feel if he doesnt make wholesale changes the poor run of form will continue, we have zero confidence at the back.

I still maintain that's the best half I've seen from us this season in terms of interplay and being on the same wavelength. I know we scored 5 v QPR in the first half but they gave us a big hand, and we could/should have had the same that day.
Torp linking everything together , brilliant that day

This one is at Lampard's door. If you keep doing the same thing, then do not be surprised if you keep getting the same result.

He played his favoured team and formation v QPR and guess what we got a sub-standard performance yet again. Even the home wins v Swansea, Millwall and Leicester were underwhelming.

He has to mix it up in some way. Yang or Esse will come in for EMC, but that is not a change that will make much difference. I bet he does not throw Frank the Tank in either although he should.

I'd go three at the back and tell MVE and JDS to get forward, Or something like that. Just try something to throw the opposition off track

...and less of the reliance on Rushworth for both saves and long punts, and MVE's long throws. Let's see some variety

It's most likely Wright will start on the left with Simms playing striker and Esse starting on the right wing.

I think Onyeka will start alongside Grimes with either Rudoni or Eccles playing further forward.

Probably the defence will remain the same.

EMC is not involved.

Where is this from Lampard said it wasn’t certain and was a minor injury?

Can’t see Wright starting on the left, if Lampard was going to make that change he’d have done it when EMC came off, reckon it’ll be the same change he made there with Esse in.

Agree with the rest. Sounds like babies aside Onyeka will start.

Should have put no paternity leave into his 3 month probation period FFS. Bet he gets sick pay as well.

Guess it’s not paternity but making sure his baby arrives safe and being there for the birth.

Not ideal for sure. Hopefully it arrives today or Sunday.

He’s having a fitness test this afternoon so how have they revealed he’s not fit? 😂

He won his last two home games playing his favoured formation, like he's won most this season. Why on earth would you change it?

I mean if we have ever made a signing that we need to come in and hit the ground running then surely it is Onyeka?

I would be majorly disappointed to sign a player with Premier League and International pedigree and him need time to 'bed in'
It's not about bedding in it's whether the rest of the team know how to play with him. It's a risk which ever way you look at it, that's why I think it's 50-50 but now we know his wife is about to give birth too so he'll likely be sleep deprived for bloody weeks as well like Haji.

His position is different to most. He is an enforcer and cuts out attacks covering all of the pitch. The last time we signed a player in a similar position was Grimes and he slotted straight in. Onyeka is a premium Grimes.

It’s just made up rubbish. If people stopped clicking on it and posting it, maybe the plonkers trying to sell advertising would go away.

Exactly this, the poster has now added, he may miss the game instead of will miss the game.

Andy Turner just reported that EMC is undergoing a fitness test today

He also went on to say that, Frank the tank may not be playing because his wife is about to give birth, you just couldn't make it up.
