Can't see Frank dropping Eccles or Rudoni. They both were involved in our goal at QPR. I'd look at playng Rudoni Wide left. With Eccles Grimes & Oneyka in the midfield. Then its a choice of Simms, Wright, Esse or Saka for the CF and RW postions.

The last 8 weeks? We're playing at home. We've won every game at home except for one.

We haven't played as badly as many would like you to believe but mistakes have cost us. In these 8 weeks you stated we have struggled to put a side out until recently but this also gets ignored.

Instead of praising Ipswich how about mentioning how poor they are away? They have a run of away games. In their last game they got a dodgy penalty in injury time at home to Preston to salvage a point.

We have 2 home games coming up. If we win them like we usually do we will be opening up a gap at the top again. But even if we do you will find fault with it.
Exactly this 👍We’re playing exactly the same as we have been since lampards been here, only difference wer‘e not scoring as many goals or creating as many chances, away, the soft goals have always been there, , we’re not being dominated in any game,

I disagree. I think we have been far more open and likely to concede than we were at the start of the season. Firstly, we had that long run where we didn’t concede a goal. Secondly, we were just not conceding goals from open play. I think in the first few games only Norwich did this, all other goals conceded were from set pieces.
I think the last time I felt we were fairly solid and more likely to score than concede was the first half against Southampton. The last four games have been basketball matches with us having little control of proceedings.
I love attacking football and I would always want us to try and play in an exciting way. There is a difference between that approach and the kamikaze stuff we have produced recently.
Why at both Norwich and QPR did we not let them come on to us after scoring first and pick them off with counter attacks? The difference between us having the lead and Rangers having the lead was very marked. We never looked like equalising as they sat back, looked comfortable but still made one or two chances.

We weren’t dominated by milwall they had some chances and didnt score, now if you’ve of said Ipswich, that’s what you call dominated. we were awful, anyway, doesn’t matter how we play it’s all about the 3 points from now, wouldn’t mind being dominated every game and winning 2-1
Not sure what you watched.

...............WRIGHT...
EMC......RUDONI......ESSE

GRIMES..........ONYEKA/ECCLES

JDS...KITCH....THOMAS ....MVE

I can see a case where Onyeka doesnt get on untill or if/When we go ahead.

Id favor Eccles at Home vs Oxford.

Vs Boro...id def go Onyeka instead of Eccles.

not many better front 4 than that, and agree with onyeka, tricky to slot straight into a midfield, keep what’s worked at home

Surely Onyeka will play from the start.

We have been crying out for this exact type of midfielder. Why would then just leave things as the were?

And London says he doesn't get on until we are ahead. 🤷🏻‍♂️ Don't get that at all.

Last away game, Oxford went 2 nil up at Leicester.

We play the best side in order to win the game and Onyeka is just the sort of player we have been waiting for and he comes with pedigree of playing at a higher level.

I think he needs to start.

Said before, but look at the second goal. Lesta committed loads of players forward, gave the ball away then it was a simple counter attack with someone sent through on goal.

If that isn't a red flag for our own 'send everyone forward' tactics I don't know what is. Onyeka starts for me.

Good point, why not , guess esse slotted straight in. just hope he has the same effect grimes did, you knew after his first touch he was going to be class.

I think the Oxford game would be the ideal start for Onyeka. He is likely to have more scope for finding his feet in this game than against Middlesbrough. You would want him to be up to speed against the better team.
Yeah, that's another good point

You would love him to be able to slot in and feel more at ease and gel with his teammates before the Boro game wouldn't you?

Look how tight we are in this clip, every time a player is in possession he's got support nearby. This is something we've not been doing as well.

No slow build up fucking around at the back just playing through midfield like the Qpr game fast passing slick high press. How we didn't smash Oxford in that game is beyond me.
