Couldn’t believe it when they took Whittaker off - he’s been a wrecker of several teams
Men in Black took him away.I can. He was dreadful last night and wasteful with the chances he had.
Fair play to Otis and Steve Floyd. Should have listened to them and bet on a Wright hat trick.Well that may be right, but it will be 5 in 20 come Tuesday morning and that's not quite so bad I don't think
I'm astonished at how little we had the ball according to stats. It just didn't seem as one sided at the ground. Maybe it was purely that they were slower in their build up play?
has he got out of DaSilva's pocket yet???I can. He was dreadful last night and wasteful with the chances he had.
loads of 5 yards tip-tap passes gets your possesion stats up quick, we used to do it, remember??I'm astonished at how little we had the ball according to stats. It just didn't seem as one sided at the ground. Maybe it was purely that they were slower in their build up play?
I said a few times last night how they looked like us from the start of the season. Able to play their way out of any corner. Lots of lovely triangles. They played admirable football and I really hope its us and them that go up.loads of 5 yards tip-tap passes gets your possesion stats up quick, we used to do it, remember??
Not a handballI knew there are a few nominations up there but I think Ive found the prize village idiot on the boro forum.

what a *** end to the winning run. to concede those two goals was shambolic and that handball call from the ref lol. his had is behind his body, dont know where else he can move at. if anything its moving away from the ball.
cov hoodoo continues. they have won their cup final when they fail to win away again all season, we will be laughing at them in the middle of the play off pack.
cov were ***, their game plan was try and boot us and play long balls. the got very fortunate to be gifted them goals. we had yet another crap day against them, everything just works out doesn't it. no tactical masterclass, no super football. a big boot forward for the second and first like their other half chances was all down to us trying to force it when playing out. time and a place for that. not early on in this game.
they looked like a bottom 3 side fighting for their lives. trash, no chance they will finish above us come may,
Before yesterday, 2 in the last 19. Even another 4 goals in that time would have put Wright on 17 in 28 for the season - would have been league top scorer and well on course for exceeding Vik in his last season with usLike, Premier League level?
I watched the coverage from Middlesbroughs Comms team replaying the match they thought we out pressed them first half, then they turned the second half, who's that guy Connelly for them good goal but missed all the others, same for whittingham.sorry for the confusion!🫣I think Frank deserves some huge credit for last night. He changed his tactics and had us playing long balls in behind their high defence, especially in the second half. Something he wouldn't normally do, but he knew Boro's midfield would be good and press us high. Rushworth drop kicked several long balls down the middle which he doesn't normally do as we normally play out from the back and it worked.
One massive difference was Onyeka. When Middlesbrough started roughing us up he took an early yellow for us to put them in their place. He was all over the pitch giving them a hard time. He's one of them players that didn't stand out like Sakamoto or Wright did but he made us more solid at the back.Thank fuck for that. Now to get a run going.
Where has this team been the last couple of months?
he literally was a machine last night, chased the backline out of possession and forced boro mistakes, really impressedOut pressing them is down to Onyeka playing
He nearly got caught out as they took a quick throw while he was doing that.Who else saw Rudi's double fist pump to the East Stand part way through after winning a throw in? I am sure you all did, but it showed he was absolutely up for it
Me too. I had him pictured as being in his early 90'sI thought you were quite a bit older to be fair.
Brentford fans all said he wasn't good enough v Prem players, but fuck me, he'll overshadow any midfielders in this Leaguehe literally was a machine last night, chased the backline out of possession and forced boro mistakes, really impressed
I hope it was tongue in cheek, but I did cringe when I heard it.....The lads and lasses in Singers' Corner have demonstrated many times over the years that they're not the brightest, but the "top of the league and you fucked it up" chant surely takes the biscuit? I had to laugh out loud at them.
Their subs did well till they got in the boxCouldn’t believe it when they took Whittaker off - he’s been a wrecker of several teams
well, we let them be top for 6 days so they didn't feel left out!! hahahahaha fuck emThe lads and lasses in Singers' Corner have demonstrated many times over the years that they're not the brightest, but the "top of the league and you fucked it up" chant surely takes the biscuit? I had to laugh out loud at them.

Eccles is a great impact player. He will always have a huge effect but seems to fade out of games. He can play any part of the match but not the full match for me.Have to say Eccles did really well when he came on. Did the right things to keep us on control and breaking up play. Also a great touch to bring the ball down and win the pen.

I hate the handball rule at the moment, but the rules ARE the rules and VAR would confirm/or give that 100%, every timeNot a handballblantant handball
Good energy too and getting round the pitchHave to say Eccles did really well when he came on. Did the right things to keep us on control and breaking up play. Also a great touch to bring the ball down and win the pen.
That was a funny tongue in cheek chant. I don't think it's them that's not the brightest...The lads and lasses in Singers' Corner have demonstrated many times over the years that they're not the brightest, but the "top of the league and you fucked it up" chant surely takes the biscuit? Yeah was going to say, he was giving it the big un and the bloke took the quick throw. He nearly got caught out as they took a quick throw while he was doing that.

It was clearly a jokeI hope it was tongue in cheek, but I did cringe when I heard it.....
