Their 20 , centre forward gave Thomas a torrid time , won every header and held the ball up superbly, didn't look to have too much more though and didn't feature at all 2nd half up against Kitchin
Rudoni would play RW presumably… One of the reason we switched to 5-3-2 last season was because Rudoni was shifted out to LW after EMC got injured v Millwall.
Rudoni has ended up on the RW quite a lot after we’ve made subs which is why people see a logic to having a midfield of Rudoni-Torp-Grimes-EMC.
It was actually good defending from Bidwell when he seemed to allow the player to run into our box imo, if he'd have committed to a tackle he was practically last man and at big risk of giving away a foul. He gave the player limited sight of goal and made a good block.
The guy picked it up about 45 yards out and was allowed to get a shot away on the corner of the 6 yard box. That's criminal. Force him out wide, hold him up, make a tackle - anything but let him run 40 yards unopposed.

Correct on both counts. Specifically, Rudoni is the key to the 4-2-3-1 system and playing him LW reduced his impact on the game and the midfield didn’t function as well with Torp as an AM.
Hence, you swap out your winger (Sakamoto) for a striker and play your key AM in 3 man midfield.
