He's too deep, too often recently. Torp has got acres to cover alone, that's why we look better with Eccles in 10 than Rudoni, because Eccles is helping out in central midfield and the whole formation links together better. Esse is compounding the issue by playing so high, which looks to be his natural game. Dangerous when he gets the ball but we're playing 5-1-1-3 at times.

Grimes and the fullbacks need to be way more in sync about who is pushing forward, and when.

I think after we lost our first to Ipswich we should have gone to a more condensed stodgy set up.

Loads of times we have dropped points recently is down to us losing the midfield battle.

I think we will be and possibly about fifth by the end of February.

Unless we can turn things around we are far from nailed-on for the playoffs.

I think some questions really need to start being asking about Lampard too in this run. Wrong set-up today, wrong set-up against Charlton, wrong set-up against Ipswich. The defensive set up is horrendous.

They look sharper than us and their passing is more quick and incisive. Our movement is to predictable. Maybe too early for Thomas-Asante but he does provide greater variations.

we are an absolute piece of piss to defend against now. Our attackers take about 15 touches at walking pace before they float slow crosses into the box. Coupled with the fact we can’t defend anymore this is very worrying

Don’t see how anybody can watch that and say it’s not clear we’ve been found out. Our defence was cut through everytime.

At least we’re a sure thing to break records this season as the biggest bottle jobs in league history.

It’s genuinely impressive.

Absolute warm diarrhea on the pitch, utter poison in the stands. A thoroughly regrettable first half for everyone aligned with CCFC

Torp and Rudoni are so out of it, they're basically leaving Grimes to carry the whole midfield battle by himself, and even then he's looking off it. Something needs to change, we can't be carrying this many passengers every game.

Although they have been the better team, the ball just doesn't seem to be dropping for us.

Losing to Leicester and expert summary from Troy Deeney is something my dry Saturday lunchtime does not need.

How long can we excuse shit performances and being opened up so easily at the back because "we're top of the league"? By Wednesday, our points gap to Boro could be just goal difference and to 3rd could be 3 points. Simply not good enough! Another poor half against another poor, mid-table team. So slow, predictable, and lacklustre.

Think Eccles needs to come on soon for Torp

It’s midfield which is the biggest issue. Grimes is too deep and Torp is pulled all over the place. We need to start protecting the defence better.

I also think we would be no worse off playing Esse where Rudoni is and bringing Sakamoto on

The drop-off is genuinely impressive.

Nothing is landing for us, whereas everything earlier in the season was.

Fans around me moaning and arguing.
Just like the old days!

I hope we see some HT changes. Rudoni isn’t working at the moment.

All Rudi does is get in the way, I'm sick of him.

Lati won the ball in the middle then just... Decided not to go after it, which lead to their first goal.

Esse looks like a one trick pony who was found out within ten minutes

Cutting through our back four like a knife through warm butter

God, I hope we have a plan B

His constant refusal to pass to Dasilva is really start to piss me off. Also Joel, if Rushworth passes the ball to you, it's because he wants you to do something with it, not pass it straight back to him FFS.

Oliver Skipp looks like a shit Friar Tuck.

Agree.. every ball bounces away, bounces too high or just bounces wrong... it has throughout this drab period... just need that bit of luck to get things going again..

Well he paid for his own ticket and travel, so no issue with him at all. Bigger issue right now is the team that aren't performing at all
