Agree, Charlton away is a good fixture for us to have next. There will not be the intensity that we have had in recent away games against better teams than Charlton. I would change formation to 442 and play Simms and Wright up top, drop Rudoni and Torp, with Grimes and Eccles in midfield.Well people are saying its a hard game based on very little. Of course teams can upset the odds. To me it looks a favourable fixture to bounce back with.
Agree with all of that but even more annoying was the fact we never as some kind of consolation got near to (and I mean proper maim like) kicking any of the bastards.Lost to the better side, whole team was poor, they never let us settle, set up to nullify EMC and it worked, we looked completely void of ideas. So many poor performances tonight. We didn't look a threat at any point.
Get back to winning ways and extend the gap again.
*Technically* Millwall are!Just my fucking luck that the season we end up with Yashin and Pirlo regens, Frank decides to not win against anyone east of Peterborough to keep it interesting.
10 wins would be good for top couple in the playoffs. Need 90+ to be sure of top 2 - so probably 12 wins would do it.He cost them £18m. What they have at their disposal is unbelievable.
In reality our job hasn't changed. 10 wins needed, and Doug needs to give Frank what he needs to get it done
Fair point- Charlton too!*Technically* Millwall are!
No way. Opta expects 3rd place to be no higher than 80 points this year.10 wins would be good for top couple in the playoffs. Need 90+ to be sure of top 2 - so probably 12 wins would do it.
I watched Oxford turn Ipswich over and thought we’d be value for a result. If youre a fan of any other club watching coventry tonight , youd be asking how the fuck we are so far clear at the top .. we looked so poor all over
Wasn't in our 5 worst players tonight. Still not sure why we're deciding to write him off. Defended well, although could've been positioned better for the second goal (by no means at fault). Looked nervous at the start and misplaced a couple of passes. Wasn't ever going to look like a world beater given the poor team performance and the good quality of opposition (best team we play all year). Would genuinely rather him than Bidwell.Get this feeling we won’t see much of Brau again. One of the most frantic players I’ve ever seen.
Lampard spelling it out to the fucking morons asking us to press the keeper.
I tried to do it myself to those around me who were howling for the press.Lampard spelling it out to the fucking morons asking us to press the keeper.
I'd put money on Middlesbrough and Ipswich reaching 80 pointsNo way. Opta expects 3rd place to be no higher than 80 points this year.
Said the same to my mate. Ipswich played well, but we were miles off our usual self. I am confident we will come back to our old selves, but not quite sure how soon!If youre a fan of any other club watching coventry tonight , youd be asking how the fuck we are so far clear at the top .. we looked so poor all over
Boro losing again , theyd need 1.68 from now to hit 80I'd put money on Middlesbrough and Ipswich reaching 80 points
We were at the other end so didn't see the result of him landing. If you'd have given me the choice at the time, I'd have taken a 2-0 loss over Rushworth doing his knee in the aftermath of The Save Of The Century. That looked grim when he went down, knee properly buckled.
Which is fair, but that being the case we’ve then still gone 4-3-3 with a high line. 5-3-2 with hitting on the break has been their Achilles heel this season, teams who try to play their own game at them get done.I tried to do it myself to those around me who were howling for the press.
But at 0-0 it's difficult to convince many that it could lead to a 6-0 deficit.
Desperately bad performance but without standing off it could have been closer to 6.
He was terrible. For me MvE at fault for both goals, watched them back again its his lethargy and laziness running back leaves Clarke open for the first, then the same for the second means the defence shifts over leaving Burns open who would have been marked by Brau
Simms isnt being played. HTF do you blame him?And Simms and Torp.
He’s probably absolutely knackered. He was terrible.
45-60 was more usIf youre a fan of any other club watching coventry tonight , youd be asking how the fuck we are so far clear at the top .. we looked so poor all over

I'm not so sure. Think Ipswich & Middlesbrough both go past 80.No way. Opta expects 3rd place to be no higher than 80 points this year.
I agree with you, but not MVE’s fault he keeps getting started.KKH should be playing then.
He looked out of his depth. Get ridWasn't in our 5 worst players tonight. Still not sure why we're deciding to write him off. Hes currently the only player with an as good as damn it, like-for-like replacement on the bench! If MVE isnt 100%, then thats on nobody but Frank for leaving him on for 90 mins whilst KKH sits twiddling his fucking knob on the bench! He’s probably absolutely knackered.

On paper we always said that December was our hardest month. If we continue to pick up points at the rate (1.33 per game) that we have in the 6 December matches, we will end up with 80 points, so based on what you posted we may well finish third.
Furlong probably would have twiddled it anywayHes currently the only player with an as good as damn it, like-for-like replacement on the bench! If MVE isnt 100%, then thats on nobody but Frank for leaving him on for 90 mins whilst KKH sits twiddling his fucking knob on the bench!
