Better team won but two absolute nailed on penalties not given the one on haji very likely to change the course of the game

Can't be bothered to read through the thread to be honest.

The sensible take from all this though is, we were very poor first half, but second half, much, much better and we were beginning to dominate the game.

One very unlucky deflection later and it turned the whole game back round again and we looked lost.

These things happen. We corrected what was wrong at half time and looked like the team who were going to score next

That Clarke goal really looped into the net. Not a lot you can do about that.

Now we have to just get back on track again against Charlton. Win there and we are into the January transfer window.

Keep the faith.
I disagree with the common consensus that we were hugely better in the second half. It was hard to be worse than the first. I felt throughout Ipswich were likely to win it.

It is an absolute cucks performance of the highest order.

This is more or less the only one team we could do with not really losing against, especially after getting smashed at their place, so it isn't really like any other game at this point. I can take a loss if it just isn't our day, but not if we play like a bunch of pussies and don't even put up a fight. They have looked better than us all game and have wanted it more than we have.

People can play it down, but it has pissed me off.
Much better second half would have been one up if rhe ref had done his job though

Tonight also signalled to me what I have been saying about Grimes' suitability for the Premier league. He came up against a really athletic and strong midfield today and really struggled.
Whole team did

i’m being kind to the posters that tend to focus on the ref’s here, but i expect it’s because they know little and therefore cannot comment on what’s actually happening football wise.

It’s easy to just shout ref whenever they get a free kick or we dont
It goes way deeper than that is changes the mindset of our players they get frustrated and do daft things like EMC shoulder barging furlong at every chance and stops the flow. We weren't at our best tonight but let's not pretend we should have had at least one penalty.

Two poor passes. Two reflections. 2-0

Yet some people didnt even think EMC did anything wrong!
