Better team won but two absolute nailed on penalties not given the one on haji very likely to change the course of the game
Yep anyone could see they should have been on by latest 60 mintues. And yet the subs came on 15 too late
Some think we have individual quality all over. We don't, champ.
They had an illness ravaged squad tonight and they played us off the park. 2-0 flattered usWe’ve had to play them twice in a month with an illness ravaged squad.
Because Frank doesn’t rate them as much. he’s complained about the squad all season and this is why.And yet the subs came on 15 too late
We were much better 2nd halfI'll be honest Frank got that wrong.
We did well to get out the first half at 0-0 and there should have been alarm bells to solidify the team and grind out a result.
Eccles should have come on for Rudoni at half time and we should have been making the game as bitty as possible.
I disagree with the common consensus that we were hugely better in the second half. It was hard to be worse than the first. I felt throughout Ipswich were likely to win it.Can't be bothered to read through the thread to be honest.
The sensible take from all this though is, we were very poor first half, but second half, much, much better and we were beginning to dominate the game.
One very unlucky deflection later and it turned the whole game back round again and we looked lost.
These things happen. We corrected what was wrong at half time and looked like the team who were going to score next
That Clarke goal really looped into the net. Not a lot you can do about that.
Now we have to just get back on track again against Charlton. Win there and we are into the January transfer window.
Keep the faith.
They have better players too, let's not forget that. If we go up, we'll have a lot of work to do.That’s not the point. Tactically he’s outsmarted us. That’s a fact.![]()
Much better second half would have been one up if rhe ref had done his job thoughIt is an absolute cucks performance of the highest order.
This is more or less the only one team we could do with not really losing against, especially after getting smashed at their place, so it isn't really like any other game at this point. I can take a loss if it just isn't our day, but not if we play like a bunch of pussies and don't even put up a fight. They have looked better than us all game and have wanted it more than we have.
People can play it down, but it has pissed me off.
I'd say we were better but we didnt lay a glove on them really. They won at a canter. We were much better 2nd half
Did they? I couldn’t tell. When you can replace Philogene with Clarke that parachute cash flexes its muscle. They had an illness ravaged squad tonight and they played us off the park. 2-0 flattered us
Whole team didTonight also signalled to me what I have been saying about Grimes' suitability for the Premier league. He came up against a really athletic and strong midfield today and really struggled.
Because Frank doesn’t rate them as much. he’s complained about the squad all season and this is why.
It goes way deeper than that is changes the mindset of our players they get frustrated and do daft things like EMC shoulder barging furlong at every chance and stops the flow. We weren't at our best tonight but let's not pretend we should have had at least one penalty.i’m being kind to the posters that tend to focus on the ref’s here, but i expect it’s because they know little and therefore cannot comment on what’s actually happening football wise.
It’s easy to just shout ref whenever they get a free kick or we dont
Two poor passes. Two reflections. 2-0Can't be bothered to read through the thread to be honest.

Yeah there have been those going on about how at least half the current team would start in the PL - haha. They have better players too, let's not forget that. If we go up, we'll have a lot of work to do.
We really weren't, we were more competitive but the quality was just as poorWe were much better 2nd half

A bit sure .. still poorWe were much better 2nd half
Well in it second halfI disagree with the common consensus that we were hugely better in the second half. It was hard to be worse than the first. I felt throughout Ipswich were likely to win it.
What riches we haveeccles , simms and bidwell
Four in five actually.
Well they are all capable championship footballersWhat riches we have

That Sheffield United aren’t a parachute team? You know what I mean.
Ok if they weren’t insanely good what does that make us?Not insanely good though is it, come on
Was it poor or is that just us we’ve been getting away with itI think we do and every team has poor performances
I think that Egeli was upwards of £16 million alone, says it all, no panic yet, transfer window could be the catalystThey have better players too, let's not forget that. If we go up, we'll have a lot of work to do.
